Wonderful service, great greens, views are wonderful. many many rabbits. I say let the bobcat family get busy.
I can't speak about the pricing of this course because I always attend as part of charitable events. The course is well taken care of and I've never had issues with the quality. It is extremely difficult but there are a few tough bunkers to navigate. The clubhouse is set up very well for events and the cart girls are very regular with the refills.
We go here in the summer months as its always cooler . The staff and practice areas are really nice here and the course has something for everybody both short tight holes and long wide ones. The greens are always good and the views are pleasant. If your in town and want a nice round give arrowwood a try and say hi to Henry the guy is a real gem
This is our first time in Oceanside, and we were happy to find this course. I am an average golfer and my husband rarely plays. We had a good time and the speed of play for our 4-some was very good. We actually had to wait on groups ahead a few times. Actually played in 4 hours. There was a Marshall so he might have had them speed up play. There were no houses near course to worry about hitting. We reserved our tee time through Golf Now, but found out that it would have been $8 pp cheaper if we had booked on the AGC website because we are seniors. We paid $56 pp w/cart instead of $48 pp w/cart. Live and learn. Should have read Tripadvisor first.
In gereral, the course is in pretty good shape. The fairways are excellent, but the course can get soggy in places and the bunkers can be muddy. The greens are in average shape.
We play here regularly. The course is well laid out, the fees aren't bad and it is kept in good condition. The big complaint here is the greens. The type of grass on them is very, very thin so the greens are always in poor condition. Also, it seems no one repairs their divots which makes them even worse.
I am a beginner golfer and find the course a little difficult for me. The greens are in great condition and the views are great.
Arrowood Golf Course is an excellent value (we paid $67 - the Seniors rate for weekends and holidays). The course is challenging, regardless of which tee location you play from. The course features significant elevation challenges, both left and right doglegs, very good greens (several with false fronts), very well-kept fairways, and a nice practice area. The back 9 is more difficult that the front 9, and holes 16 through 18 will test your ability - especially if the wind is up. The staff (including the pro shop) is very friendly.
This is a lovely course which is forgiving and friendly. We play here fairly often. My only complaint is that the grass on the greens is very thin and therefore the greens are never in terrific condition. However, the rest of the course is great and fun to play.
The green's fees and the quality of the grounds...specifically the putting greens, makes this course a "true" Golfer's secret.
