Beach gets great morning sun. Good water sports and fun to watch the boats come in and out. The restaurant is set on the beach, good food and entertainment.
One of, if not the most, stunning beaches I've ever had the pleasure of relaxing on. Truly beautiful, more or less peaceful unless loud catamaran parties come in, lots of activities, great food and drinks with easy access....just outstandingly beautiful
Gorgeous shelving sand and crystal blue sea. A perfect spot to try your hand and one of the many watersports on offer.
Everything you need is a short walk from your room, or if you're staying at one of the three Villa's, there is always transportation at your doorstep.
Likes-it's the main beach and where all the action is (and most of the people are). Pro's-the great beach restaurant is there. Great watersport rentals. Large so you can find pockets of small area with hammocks. Con's-it's busy. Non-hotel guest visit on boats ranging from small to large yachts and the "large yacht" crowd can be loud and demanding.
loved all of itty for all the sport activities you are offeringloved the hobicart, paddling snorkegling
Came her for a few hours en route back toSunsail base.Safe easy anchorage.Nice snorkeling , lots of lovely fish ,very peaceful till6 cartamarans arrived and disturbed our peace.Had lunch on board before moving on.Highly recommended place for a few hours.
We took the ferry from Road Town, Tortola and arrived on the Hotel side of Peter Island. There is a pleasant walk along the road to reach Deadmans Bay but you can request a ride from the hotel reception on the mini bus which will pick you up outside. The beach and bay are stunning and a quintessential Caribbean experience. It's safe for bathing and it wasn't crowded in Januarty. The bar made cocktails which we enjoyed and the restsurant was very nice and the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was Sunday and a steel band played great music with a wide range of tunes that included Abba as well as traditional. It was a wonderful experience which I would highly recommend.
Too bad there was a plague of sargasso. Also, beach attendants had no pillows for big basket chairs; why put them out if you can't sit in them comfortably?
Beautiful beach with the bar and restaurant off the beach. Live music when they have it is fun. Sailboats are allowed to anchor in the bay, but are limited to a section of the beach and not to disturb Peter Island guests chairs/umbrellas.
