Hi Bob,Thank you very much for taking the time to provide a review on Waas-no-de Buffet. We sincerely appreciate the wonderful feedback and we will be sure to share it with our Food & Beverage team!
The casino is very small. It does have a couple of restaurants and I believe 2 small gift shops. Sage restaurant was amazing though! We ate there 3 times and they NEVER disappointed! Loved it!!!
Every time we are in the area we spend a little time at the Odawa Casino. The Sage restaurant is lovely. Music from the grand piano plays during dinner. We love the round table near the wine tower.

This is my favorite casino in Michigan. It has , by far, the best buffet of any casino I have been in. If I lived in Petosky and didn't gamble, I would still go to Odawa just for the buffet. We try to get up there several times a year.
Well kept casino with a good buffet. While we managed to win a little, the slot play was enjoyable because they gave us good play.
I enjoy going to casinos, and Odawa in Petoskey is no exception. The only drawback is the smoke - perhaps more folks in that area smoke, or maybe the air filtration system at the casino is lacking, but I usually walk out of there smelling like I have smoked an entire carton of cigarettes. The casino overall is clean and the games are the usual fare. I'll be back, but wish there was some way to avoid the smoke.

My girlfriend and I needed to get away, if only for a night, and took a flyer on Odawa Resort and Casino. The price was right ($99.00/night) and along with some coupons for food credit and free-play in the casino I found this to be quite a nice deal. Our visit did start with disappointment however, as we arrived to discover the hotel and casino are not connected. In fact, they aren't even within walking distance of each other. For usthis was a small matter as to thegambling aspect of our visit but somewhat of a problem in that all the dining options are located in the casino rather than the hotel. We were pleased with our room and the hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable and quiet. The casino was nice but catered mostly to slots and blackjack players with only a few other table games available. This may be problematic on a busier weekend. The minimum stakes were low and friendly and the dealers and pit bosses were quite nice.We ate at the buffet and were very impressed, especially at $9.99 per person (regularly $19.99), with our players discount. We will definitely visit again.
Nice little casino. Good comps and very friendly staff. Had a verity of slots that I have never played before plus the goodies like Wheel of Fortune.
