Imagine playing 9 hole golf with 7 of your closest friends who can't play golf. Its funny. We liked it. We laughed a lot. The receptionist was very helpful.
I always wanted to play this course when I drove by and finally did a few years ago. A very nice course but if it is wet at all it is almost like a swamp. There are some pretty holes and would definitely play again.
We spotted the $25.00 for after 2:00pm play and scheduled a tee time for a return trip to Virginia. On this trip we played three courses and by far this is the best south central golf course in Kentucky. Water on at least 9 of the 18 holes which means tight straight shots. Greens in excellent shape - both soft and fast. Great hospitality and customer service. Plan to play this course.
We were told about this course while in Lexington. Decided to drop in the next day without a reservation. Managed to get a tee time within the hour. The course was in great shape (October). Most tee shots required a reasonably straight shot as water came into play on quite a few holes. Greens were well groomed and sand traps were actually sand not dirt.Great value for the money ($25 all in). Only problem was it is located in a dry county.
This is a very tight course that will challenge you! The scenery is beautiful & there is a LOT of water. You will enjoy playing this course!
