Coming to a Steeler game here is the best thing. The fans are loud, proud, and happy to cheer for their beloved Steelers (me, too). Lots of food choices. When they play Renegade at the end of the 3rd quarter, it is the most fun thing you can imagine- highlight film of the defense.Jumbotrons are good. You must come here once in your life, and please wear Black and Gold.Pitt games here too- they change the logos and decor around the stadium for Pitt games.
Great venue! Great food, great facilities, great game! Parking is a little crazy so plan ahead, but once you get in the vendors are plentiful and delicious. The seats we had were amazing (suite level).
Fun to see a game at the field - but you can see better in the TV. Food is expensive for what you get. Good to experience but not a steady diet.
Heinz Field may be sure on luxuries and frills, at least outside of the Club Level and Suites, but there isn't a bad seat in the house! Sit on the home side and you also get a panoramic view of The Point and Skyline of the Golden Triangle! And if the weather's nice, a gorgeous walk from downtown and via the River Walk adds to the appeal! Here We Go, Steelers and Hail to Pitt!
If you want to be in the midst of the most passionate football fans anywhere, Heinz Field is the place to go. You can feel the heartbeat of Pittsburgh there. Good food, too!
If you're a visiting team fan this black and gold heaven probably sucks but if Myron Cope is a hero then it's a fabulous place to watch the game. The atmosphere is fantastic and fans are as well behaved as NFL fans can be -- well, maybe not if you have Ravens gear on! Take time to visit the exhibits on the concourse that display Steeler history.
My wife and I have bought tickets to the Steelers game now for over 10 years. We bought 6 games this year including the playoff game with the Ravens. Our tickets were in Section 535 row F front row. The best seats we have had ever! Well as you can imagine, the game was a playoff and against the bad boy Ravens. When things got exciting, we stood and cheered. Well, two old guys directly behind us started being very rude to my wife for standing and lecturing her on how you should act at a Steeler's game. They could not see when she stood up. Problem with that is over 50,0000 fans were standing too. It got so bad with these guys (one called her a name I cant write) were so rude to my wife, we finally packed up and left. They were too busy talking about their lake houses during the game. I asked the security to remove these two old guys and they did! When they were leaving, one old guy came up to my wife and said something not very nice to her. It was a good thing security was there to hold me back. Word of caution, watch out for the fans that tell you they have been coming to the games for over 35 years! They only live in the past! Don't let my story hold you back from going, the stadium and staff are awesome. Just watch for the "old" area to sit in, those old fans are, well are OLD.
Go see the Pitt games or Steelers. Which ever team you go to see will be great. Food is excellent. All seats give you a great view of the field
I'm a huge fan of the Steelers, but not of their stadium! Narrow cramped walkways to/from the seats, to me are a safety hazard if there were an emergency evac. Their 'jumbotron' is not so jumbo! It's mostly ads.
One of my favorite parks in the world. The steeler fans are loyal and very nice. Take a trip here. it's always a great day. I try to get to at least one game a year when in town on business.
