We stopped by to check out the local beer. This is a great little place. It was packed with people waiting for tables. We tried the beer sampler and it was lots of fun. We did not eat but the food looked pretty good. Very short menu, but who comes here for the food?
For being as young as it is, Elevation Beer Company is producing some really fantastic beers! We went in to try a few beers and walked out with a wall sign, T-shirt, glasses (the list goes on). I'm really impressed with the quality!
Great place to stop after a day of skiing! Great quality beer! Sample several. Bring a growler to fill-up to bring back to the hotel!
This brewery has small-town charm, friendly staff, and most importantly - the best beer in Colorado! They recently (May 2014) were awarded the Best Brewery award at the South Denver Beer Fest. It is truly a beer connoisseur's paradise. They always keep three beers on tap - the Kolsch, the First Cast IPA, and the Lil 'Mo Porter. The rest of the taps rotate but typically include Saison, Tripel, Double IPA's, Stout's, Engel Weisse, Oak-Cast IPA, Quadrupel, and lots more. They also have firkins, where beer is pulled part way through the typical brewing process, ingredients are added that increase flavor and alcohol content, and this beer becomes naturally carbonated. The flavor profiles of their beers are amazing. They use bold flavors, and are constantly experimenting to stay on the cutting edge. The beer here is so good I drink all of the styles here, instead of my go-to IPA. If you want bland, cheap beer, don't go here. Otherwise, get here early - they close at 8!
If you want a fine crafted brew. This is the place. If you dislike a nose up in the air, Aspeny attitude. Then pass this one by.
We had heard about this brewery while in a restaurant in Salida. My husband ordered a beer from this brewery and it was great. So we drove a quick 5 miles to the brewery. We were not in the least bit disappointed. We did the 5 beer tasting for $15. Got a nice sized serving of each (see picture below). Unique beers with great complexity.
Finally stopped in a month ago and this has been our stop on our way home from a few days working in salida . Sampled most of the beers and they are all very good, fanboy my favorite so far. Go in on Thursday, Megan is very friendly . Had another wait on us and was not too friendly . Nice atmosphere, sitting outside would be awesome when warmer . Bar stools are different .
We've stopped at Elevation Beer Co twice when driving through Poncha Springs and love their location and beer. We've even started seeing more of their beers at our local liquor store and are happy they're getting stocked in Denver! It's close off the highway, so if you're driving through the area, it's definitely worth the stop for a tasting tray!
We live within a few miles and every visit is unique. Love the set up and feel of the bar area. Love the samplers and recommend the IPA & Koelsch. Get in on tour to know all the behind the scenes details. Just plain cool!
This place is a GEM. The beer is clean, crisp and award-winning, the tasting room/patio is hip and fun and the guys are AWESOME. They showed us top notch hospitality. If you're a beer fan, you must visit elevation.
