our type of travel - quiet and peacefulas usual beautiful countryside.Weather was decent for August- really a bit on the cool side, compared to last visit years ago
The Visitors information Center in Pueblo gave us an excellent guidebook with map, pictures, history, and information about the sights on this paved, two-lane loop through Pueblo, Colorado City, and Westcliffe. We didn't stop to visit the sites, but the scenery was well worth the drive--especially the Sangre de Cristo range seen from Westcliffe.
as it is near my home and the way I go to different places I drive it weekly. It is nice, but in the summer of course more well travelled....stop at the scenic stops and points of interest and enjoy!
