Plenty of facilities, but relatively expensive lounger hire and drink prices relative to other beaches close by.
This is a nice beach and is very crowded especially from locals tha seem to prefer it. Its wiser to book sunbeds days before in the summer as it is the only way ti find any in high season.
We walked to this beach and it looked really lovely. If you are prudish, you may wish to go elsewhere or avert your eyes as this is the "hippie beach" we were told. ;-)
非常漂亮的海水,我们到的时候差不多下午四、五点,人有点冷清,阳光也稍弱,泡一下海水就觉得很冷了阳伞非常的贵,旁边的披萨还不错吃
You can take a bus to Paraga Beach from town. Look out for the "Paraga" sign at the front of the bus. Alternatively, you can drive yourself there. The bus will stop at the Paraga Beach Hostel. By walking down and towards the right, you will see rows of "private" deck chairs followed by empty/free-for-all beach without chairs. If you are on a budget, you can set up your umbrella and towel in that area. It's not less crowded there though. If you are not staying for long, you can also get one of the "private" deck chairs owned/managed by the restaurants/bars. We managed to get 2 chairs in the far back during our 3 hour stay, and no one asked us for our order. We had our lunch in one of the restaurants facing the sea which had deck chairs. However, the server informed us that we are not allowed to leave our stuff at the tables and take a dip in the sea. That's sad.If you are on a budget, you can hydrate yourself and buy drinks from the mini market instead of spending a bomb from the restaurants/bars.
This was better than Paradise. 12euros to just get rented sunbed even if you order food/drinks. There are enough places on beach for people not opting for sunbeds. There were lot of naturists around too.
A lovely sandy and small shingle beach and even comes with a changing room !!! It's a mixed beach of clothed and naturists and has lots of lovely sunbeds .
This beach is the one we liked most of the whole Island, due to its crystal waters, clean sand, good facilities, excellent restaurant, good music and pleasant staff. What else? Not overcrowded but fashionable and quiet.
IWe like something a little quieter.great for the party animals and young things! Not my idea of a great beach!
Paranga is located right by Acrogiali hotel. We enjoyed laying out and ordering drinks from the bar. the sand is nice and not rocky like other Greek Beaches. Water is clear blue and sand is powdery white.
