This time at Lake George we drove down to Gooney Golf with our son and his family so that the grandchildren could play golf, We had seen Gooney Golf on the way into Lake George Village and although my husband and I had already played there, this was the first time with the kids. The grandchildren, ages 7 and 4, loved it. It consisted of lots of goofy things to putt though and as the 4 year-old said, "it's silly". We had a lot of fun watching them play. It is geared for kids in their age range with all kinds of storybook creatures for them to laugh at. Take your kids there and watch them have fun.
Great way to spend an afternoon during the off season! Fun mini golf experience - very reasonable and easy to get to!
It's really fun and great for kids! I bring my kids there every summer they love it so much!!!!!! Also it's very reasonable. Fun fun fun!!!!
It was a miniature golf course that had lots of different things to play around. A great place for adults and children.
My family has gone up to Lake George every summer for 15 years or more, and Gooney Golf is one place we always have to visit before heading back home. It consists of fun, animated characters like miniature golf used to be, and it's a refreshing step back in time. We love Gooney Golf!
Although this place is worn out and unlike years ago, there are newer places that have more flash, this place is a must stop. Its like a step back in time to some degree.
The course was fun. We were able to check in easily, and started play immediately. This course is somewhat based off of characters in fairy tales. It was cute to see the interpretations of them at each hole (humpty dumpty made my child giggle). The ball only got stuck at one hole - the alligators mouth.. but we were able to coax the ball out and it made for a cute picture. It's a long course.. definitely spent time here. Overall, it was a good value and it was a fun night for us.
This place looks super cheesy when you drive by, but it is a good value, clean, nicely kept, and the mini golf equipment and course are nice. We had a blast with our kids, ages 7 and 9.
This course was fun, and challenging at times; but we prefer Pirates Cove that has beautiful landscaping and also a fun challenging course.
We stop and play a round everytime we go to Lake George. The kids really like it and there is a lot to look at as you walk around which really keeps them busy.
