My first trip hunting with Wayne was a success. He is a professional guide and called in several flights of reluctant birds. Four of us shot our limit before lunch. Before lunch we stopped at a local business that plucks or breasts out the birds for a very reasonable rate, they were ready to pick up in short order and they were professionally cleaned. Look forward to going back to shoot up some of the plentiful geese.

Been fishing with Capt. Wayne for a number of years. He knows that part of the Chesapeake Bay as well as anybody. Had a charter with Capt. Wayne 1st. weekend in June & he put us right on the fish in one stop. Had our limit in a few hours and kept on with catch & release. If you don't catch fish with Capt. Wayne then nobody is catching fish.

It was my two daughter's first hunt and Wayne worked very hard to make the day special for them. While other's hunting in the area where not even getting a shot on this sunny day Wayne managed to call in several birds. We ended the days with seven geese. It was a day my girls will never forget. This was our first experience chartering a fishing boat. We booked an afternoon trip out of Rock Hall, MD Wayne and his mate,this day happened to be Susan, his wife made the day perfect by putting us on a great fishing spot. It was a short ride out to the fishing grounds. Wayne and Susan could not have done a better job. We caught our limit...big, pretty Rockfish. Wayne is very attentive to his customers...running around keeping the lines baited, netting the fish, and keeping us straight. We will definitely be going out again with him. A camera is a must to capture the fun times. It was a perfect day on the bay.

This is the second of our annual fishing weekend with friends. We all caught fish, he was very helpful and guided us through our mistakes. He goes out of the way to make sure you have a good time. We will see him next year

I booked an afternoon fishing trip with Captain Wayne for a group of 11 people. Our group included adults with varying amounts of experience and several children ranging in age from 7-13. Captain Wayne made certain that our trip fit the needs of our participants. He knew that we needed to keep the children occupied, so he took us to several different spots and introduced us to several methods of fishing. What a success! Very rarely did 5 minutes pass without someone reeling in a fish. I had originally booked this trip as a 40th birthday present for my husband, but since it was so much fun we have decided to make it an annual event.

I've hunted with Wayne several times now in Maryland and highly recommend him and his guides. He puts in the time before the season and before the hunt getting his locations scouted and his blinds ready. When you show up, things are ready. This is not only obviously important but a great change from some other guides I have hunted with over the years. He works hard and gets results. If you don't kill ducks and geese with him either the weather hasn't cooperated (which is hunting, after all) or you didn't shoot straight (which happens to all of us, for God sake.) I recommend him without hesitation and rank him with the top three guides I have hunted with in Arkansas, Maryland and Alberta, Canada over the past twenty five years of waterfowl hunting.

I had the good fortune of hooking up with Captian Wayne Gatling 10 years ago at the 7 mile marina in Marathon and I have been fiishing with him every year since then when i vacation in the Keys.Wayne is a great captian I trust him and admire how hard he works and all the enthusiasm he bring to his fishing charters.Wayne knows where the fish are and he works hard to ensure that his customers hook up with a good catch.Wayne has taken me out fishing for mangrove snapper,grouper,sea trout,permit and the most exciting of all the fabulous Tarpon, the best fighting fish in the Keys.Wayne has a lot of patience,energy and makes each fishing trip a memorable one.Any fisherman regardless of experience that wants to spend a beautiful day on the water and catch dinner should defintely call Wayne Gatling the best charter captian in Marathon.

I have been fishing with Captin Wayne for over 10 years in Rock Hall MD and I'm convinced that He is the hardest working Captin in that area. He knows the area like no other and always seems to be able to find fish even when the fishing is slow. His boat always seems to out fish everyone else. He always has the fish cleaned and in bags ready to take home by the time we get to the dock . We take our employees out fishing and we always charter His boat and he is always on time ,actually He is always early and chomping at the bit to get going when we get there! There is nothing like pulling into the dock at 5:30 am and you see your Captin jumping up and down ready to get going:) He seems as excited to catch fish as his clients. In todays world where good customer service seems to be a rare occurrence this is a breath of fresh air. This year one of the owners took His 6 year old son on his first fishing trip and the extra effort and patience the Captin and mate showed was awesome ! Spending a day on then water with Captin Wayne has always been a great day and I recommend Him to all My family and friends!
