It seemed to be just a large old home converted into a theater house. I was surprised however how large it actually was inside. It could hole around 50 people or so I think. The seats were flat, and not arena style so it made it hard to see past the people in front of you. But it wasn't too bad. Quality and sound were good. Seats were comfortable. The best part was the drinks and popcorn were way cheaper then in the city movie theaters. It is a one room theater so only one showing at a time. Over all it was a good experience.
cool theater not a cineplex commercial place , home popped popcorn fresh with real butter. a lounge to sit and read all the neighbors go . Small one theater not 20 Inexpensive senior rates very good
This is a must see. It is a very small theatre with a balcany. You do need reservations for the balcany when they are busy. It is a very old building with lots of character. They play all the current movies and have a matinee on the weekend.
Great popcorn; very friendly staff; comfortable seats - pay a little extra for the loge seats upstairs. If you have a well-behaved dog, it can even accompany you to the movie. On a side note - wasn't that impressed with Man of Steel - too much sci-fi for us.
First run movies and gourmet popcorn with your choice of sprinkle toppings! A local recommends the brewer's yeast on popcorn--must be an acquired taste :) The building used to be a mortuary and has an old time touches inside (but the bodies are only on the screen). The seats are so cushy that a stack of pillows are left on the stage for patrons to boost themselves up a little. Sit in the loges for the best seats. They will reserve ahead if you call and request.
One screen, cute little theater is a great place to see a flick. Remember there are pillows and blankets on the stage to add some height and comfort to your bum if you would like to use them. Balcony seating are an extra cost but may be worth it, its cheaper than big city theater admission prices anyways. they use real butter on the popcorn and have toppings free of charge. Glad i went.
Popcorn was delish, a whole tray of seasonings were provided for those who want to doctor their popcorn up a bit.
This is the cutest little theatre - comfortable seats and a lot of eclectic charm. They have the best popcorn (with real butter!) and a ton of toppings to add. They are now digital and show the latest films. Staff is very friendly.
One of a kind experience. First run movies, usually a new release each week unless it's popular then they hold it over for another week. They have the BEST POPCORN EVER! Real butter....not flavored oil. They have a variety of toppings and best of all brewers yeast. The locals usually get it "gravy style". I'd never tried brewers yeast on my popcorn but now I'm addicted! Once you try it you'll always want it. Then again it is an acquired taste, so some might not like it. They also have some Vegan food such as "Not Dogs", and Nachos made with real cheese not the chemically processed cheese most places have. I recommend sitting upstairs in the "Loge", new seats with cup holders are super comfy. So lucky to have such a wonderful little theater in our small town.
Fun place with great folks at the counter. The seats are low, but comfortable. I suggest getting a couple pillows ( provided in the front) or you will be really low. First run movies in a small venue
