This beach mainly has crowd form Leela and Holiday Inn resort, but its quite and a clean beach to take a walk. Very peaceful and beautiful place. Don't forgot to carry some food, as there are very limited options available, also its too far from Colva and other city area, but the ride is beautiful.
We had heard about the south goa beaches as the cleanest and nice beach. So we decided to pack our bags and hired a car to this location. This location is unlike other locations in Goa. The beaches are clean and shacks are good. However the food prices in these shacks are in higher side, may be due to foreign tourists. The easiest way to reach is by google maps and roads to this place is full of greenery. Good place to hangout from crowd and have a peaceful location.
We absolutely loved this beach. We arrived using the small (and partially unpaved road) that goes next to the Leela Palace. While the pretty awesome setting to the left with the palmtrees is for residents of that Palace only, there are many little shacks that provide chairs and sunshade. We went for Sam's, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The beach was nearly empty, and very clean. The sand is very soft, and the water pretty clean, too. There seemed to be less dogs than further up north, and for sure less people bothering you. Prices in the shacks are the same as everywhere else: A bit more than usual, but hey, you're using their chairs and you're at a beach in Goa...
A very pleasant, relaxing place. Not overcrowded and beautiful scenery. Plenty of restaurants to eat. At nearby, including Fisherman's Wharf.
Amazingly beautiful beach, not too crowded, wide enough that people strolling on the beach are not casting a shadow on you when you are relaxing on the sunbed provided free by the shacks (as long as you order food from there). Life guards are present every 50 meters or so, and the water is good for swimming. No hawkers on the beach disturbing you for massage or clothes etc which is a plus. Would love to visit again
Mobor beach stretches for miles, and with beach shacks that serve excellent food and drink, I feel this is the perfect beach for me!
love cavelossim beach area . mostly visited by foreigners . not for people who want lot of shopping eating dirtying the beach. best beach in south goa .
This is a very beautiful beach with a very big and wide shoreline.Plenty of space for children to play and not crowded so can make very peaceful sunset viewing for the family together. You can also go out for a jog on either side of the shore. Been there both during the rains and peak holiday season and found it peaceful both the times. Its also surprisingly clean during the rains. Its also flanked by green hills on the southern side and zoomin through your camera you with notice something like a big ghost rock jutting out from the sea :)
Lovely stretch of beach 20 minutes stroll from Cavelossim Village with a choice of 5 shacks. There is less hassle from the beach sellers on this stretch than on the main Cavelossim beach.
Mobor is one of the best beaches in south of Goa, often missed by many, its just one end of the south goa. Surrounded by sea on one side and the riverfront of the other side. A very very exclusive beach. Has top hogtesl like Leela, Holiday Inn etc. and some of thee best restaurants like FISHERMANS COVE right on the river, from where you can see the fish trade, and fish market on the other side. Boat rides, bike rides are easily available. Best ambience, many movies are shot on this beach, the crowd is great. These hotels sometime go for bonfire and evening dances etc. Wonderful beach to visit, good waves, and excellent scenery.
