We took the tram to the top and then zip lined back down to the bottom. It was very professionally run and the platforms were large so I didn't feel exposed like I did on the one we went on in Monte Verde. Brilliant experience and for anyone nervous about zip lining then definitely the one to go for.
The hanging bridges were a lot of fun. Even my husband who is afraid of heights had a great time on them. Best Zip lining experience I have ever had. Our guides were amazing. Can't visit Monteverde without stopping in at Sky Tram
We had zip lined in Hawaii, but this was different.Almost a quarter mile length 400 feet above the rain forest. The hike through the forest, the bridges, and the guides were awesome.Do this!
We had always heard that Costa Rica was THE place to zipline. After getting rained out the first day due to wind & rain, they refunded our money and we went back and were not disappointed. The guides were professional and very safety conscious. The zips were outstanding! This is a must!!
It was enjoyable to walk across the bridges but our mandatory guide did not add any value. He wasn't very knowledgeable and our other guides in Monteverde out-shined him immensely. We expected to see a lot of wildlife & fauna that we wouldn't otherwise be able to see on the ground but that didn't turn out to be the case.
This was my first zipline and I think I chose the best of the best! I met another couple who said they have done ziplines in 6 vacation spots and this one was the best. It was thrilling and beautiful! I loved the guides and the whole experience. I bought a base model Go-Pro camera with a helmet strap and it is a MUST! I keep watching the videos and I am thrilled all over again. Fast, exciting and fun! :)
Zip lining over the cloud forest was one of my highlights in Costa Rica. The first couple of attempts are scary but after that it's sheer joy zipping above the canopy trees enjoying the stunning views in the process
Two out of four had slight mobility issues and after much research read this was relatively flatIt is not but we made the trek of .93 miles 5 bridges with many stops . Our guide poked out a sleeping orange kneed tarantula from his den but no other birds or animals were seen. The flora and mostly fauna was enough to keep our small group 10 entertained. A different guide took us on the tram whichh has 3 cables open cable cars. Difficult to hear the guide. It he Mocs to our car on the way down. The top has observation deck with drinks and washrooms and returned after approx 15 min. Dress warm as windy and. Cool. Book online saves 5% and guarantees a spot. We pId in Sante Elena and then got specific directions 20 min to tram/walk and zip lining total time for walk over hanging brides and tram 3 hours. 2 hr drive from Tiliran . Breakfast lunch also served
If you are thinking cloud forest and adventure and safety, you are thinking Costa Rica Sky Adventures. They have it all and you may just go take a walk on the bridges or hire a guide and hike on the hanging bridges while learning about the cloud forest. You may fly through the canopy doing some zip lining and check the tram. I have done all of it more than once and I am a safety freak so if I bring my family and friends I recommend Sky Adventures all the time. Don't forget it is located on the Caribbean side of Monteverde so it rains a bit more than on the other side of the continental divide. Bring a poncho.
Great thrill ziplining. Weather is great and views were spectacular. Additionally, I always felt secure as the staff is great.
