The only reaon we were there was 'cos the dive centre organised a last night do at the Half Crown's Friday evening Bar-B-Q. First the good part - the Bar-B-Q was good and the food plentiful. As for the rest, well if you like crowded, very noisy, no place to sit, impossible to hold a conversation bar this is the place for you. I found I had to escape outside to rest my eardrums and was soon followed by the rest of my group and indeed the dive centre manager. The place may, of course, not be like this on other nights, but the Friday night was not for me.
the staff were great ,the food was great and the entertainment was also good ,a good night out had by all
if you are in this area it is a must to pop in , you will definitely be going back.we first went in for a roast dinner and oh my god it was fantastic!we then had a bbq which was much more than a bbq and then we had the steak..... absolutely lovely!also you could watch as much footy as you wanted and sometimes 3 games at once.the staff are all english and make you really welcome .the only shame was on our last days it had a power cut due to no fault of their own , was looking forward to out 'last beer'over all a really good place and the chef was first classhopefully see them all again x

Nice English bar run by a British couple not sure exactly where fromdrinks all at a reasonable price and quality Friday night is BBQ all you can eat for three poundsand they do an amazing Sunday dinner roast beef and Yorkshires and they do breakfasts everydayand its not far from a large shopping center (IL MERCATO )
Great fun plenty of sport and music.staff are great and friendly. Food excellent and prices are brill.very helpfull and you can always have a laugh with steve and muhammad (the little chef).
Stayed at the Badawia (Bad Idea) Hotel next door. This English Bar with great food was an Oasis. Cold beer (ice round the pump & whiskey that tasted like whiskey). Food is served from 1pm but would highly recommend the English Breakfast (real bacon & pork sausages etc etc) £4.50 English, All you can eat BBQ on Friday evening was superb (Chilli con carne was exceptional) £3 English per head & Sunday Roast £5 English (As close as you'll get abroad) - Lynne, Nigel & rest of bar staff were great fun & really helpful & Mohamed (The Chef) what can I say - We love you & your food (All served hot) - Those that have eaten at the Bad idea will understand this comment
