My friend introduced me to Goulds a few years ago. We travel three and a half hours just to have the pancakes, sausage and syrup. The coffee and cream is phenomenal..I buy several different sizes of syrup to give as gifts..Absolutely love this place..Super friendly, great service.
The pancakes here are absolutely to die for! Perfectly fluffy, and served with their home made maple syrup. It's a really quaint little place, and the service was quick and friendly, and the price great. I really can't find fault!!
We have been passing this place for years and always wondered what it was about . We checked and when we realized that it is seasonal we made a stop today.Pancakes and waffles were as good as others said they were .No wait on a Thursday morning.
i grew up in greenfield mass we went to gould all the time for the great pancakes ant the maple products are fantastic i still make it back home being in florida we do not have things like that here i have care packages sent to me all the time
All been said before. Best Pancakes I've ever had, and I'm no rookie. Plan for an hour or two wait. My only excuse for waiting over 50 years to come here. is it's an hour away...worth the trip, worth the wait, Won't miss coming next fall....
They process the maple syrup right there on the premises. The owners/managers were so kind and answered all our questions. Their family story is one that will inspire you.
For .25 cents you can't beat it. You might actually want two, one for each hand. YUM YUM. You can also buy syrup and other gifts in their shop. They were only open until 2:00PM
great little family farm. Reminds me of when I was little and we went out in fall as a family to get pumpkins and pancakes. Food was good and wait staff was great.
My family's been coming here for nearly 35 years. Family tradition! And now my husband and I have been coming here for the past 12 years. Families visit and sign the guest book, and you can look back to see how many other families have made it their tradition. Each year they write a short story that appears on the back if the paper menu about what's been going in the past year. Helen Gould is the matriarch, and every year she works the register - she is so sweet! But the BEST part is the small bowl of chopped-up pickles - homemade every year, at least up till last year. Helen said that they may stop making them... which is a TRAGEDY. You can buy a jar, but only one, and it's totally worth it. They go great with the pancakes!Today we're off to visit for the 13th year. We'll visit the Bridge of Flowers, which is beautiful in early fall. Can't wait to make the tradition continue!
I loved this place! The pancakes are fantastic and the restaurant is incredibly cute. It was in an idyllic setting, family run and very charming.
