I took my children to Happy Hollow many years ago and now I go with my grandchildren. It's a very special place for young children. There aren't many of those. I still miss Frontier Village! The rides are suited to young children, the petting zoo is very nice and the whole place is clean.
took granddaughter , enjoyed the zoo lovedSophia the redwood area lots of fun the rides were a lot of fun . enjoyed the sand area also
Happy Hollow was renovated a few years ago. This is a wonderful place for families. This great for kids of all ages. An area with rides, an area for picnics, an area for zoo. The café is very good and quite reasonably priced.
Happy Hollow has been around for many years. It gets crowded in the summer, but the rides are great for kids, the animals are ok, and the play area/picnic area is a great place to take kids or school groups on a weekend day.
This place is good for kids as it has both animals they can look at and pet as well as rides that even young children can play with. The zoo is big enough without being too large or overly crowded and is located close to shopping and places to eat so its pretty convenient. A good place to enjoy a short afternoon trip with your kids.
We took our two little kids there and we all had fun: they loved the rides and a huge playground in the middle of the park. We, however, didn't get a chance to see any animals because we had to leave. But the food court has a good selection of food and bathrooms are clean and easily walked to.
This play ground, little zoo, sweet rides, and puppet shows is the perfect place to visit with kids under about 8. There are also fun camps for older kids. The cafe is convenient and reasonably priced. This park was recently remodeled and the rides were given a face lift but it retained the sweet simple atmosphere.
Grandchildren love a visit here, clean, lots of space to run, rides and a nice afternoon outing. Very educational too.
This is a great place to take toddlers and young children. They have small rides, a puppet theater, a small zoo, petting zoo, and a great playground. All of my kids love it. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays, and parking is expensive. There is a southern parking lot that is less expensive, but you have to walk a little farther, but you can stop at the Japanese gardens on the way.m
The price is fair. There are plenty of domestic animals for kids to see and learn about. The cafe has good options for families. We loved the puppet show and family-friendly rides. It is the perfect day out with the kids, combining education and fun. I love this place!
