My wife had a Mani & Pedi and she was very happy with the staff who did a very good job. They didn'y have as many of the tools of the trade however they were good.
Our experience in 2013 was of a real oasis with very pretty grounds, excellent staff, top notch services and very affordable pricing. We loved the water circuit and the hot tub was tropical and a wonderful place to await our chocolate and rum or hot stone massages.Returning in 2014 we could not wait to repeat our spa time and actually talked about going twice instead of another excursion we had enjoyed it so much in 2013. Unfortunately that was not to be and this year the spa was run down, had absolutely no running water, filthy pool and hot tub and no water circuit. Pools and hot tub were covered in missing tiles, the pool was drained, and the water level in the hot tub was down so low that even if you had ventured into it the jets would not have worked. I must say we were very disappointed, but as always the staff were gracious, professional and apologetic, so we opted to stay for the services we had booked. They were wonderful even though we could not shower or even flush the toilets when we were finished.I think the most annoying thing was that even though there was visibly a problem at the spa no one during the booking process at the 5 star hotel mentioned that the pool and circuit were not operational and that the bathrooms were not useable. Just to be expected in Cuba? Maybe...but next time we will be visiting the spa before we book.
While staying at the Royalton Cayo Santa Maria I walked to the spa (about 3 minutes) where i had a neck, back, leg, foot and scalp massage. All of this came to only 89 cuc. It was absolutely beautiful, like something out of a movie and a wonderful massage. It's located in a cute little market as well - great location!
Good shopping and nobody is puling at you to buy their products. Must go up the tower to see the view of the ocean. It is fantastic and can get beautiful picture of the ocean and the out door mall.
The massage experience and staff were great. I was very upset with the behavior of the visitors who were very loud and inconsiderate to the Zen atmosphere of the spa. There were children running around and adults talking loud. The Spa should have quiet signs. I was not advised that I could come an hour earlier and use the hot tub only found out about that a day later.I would highly recommend making an appointment, for one of their many types of massages or treatments. They are fairly busy so book ahead a few days.
Who'd would think you could go shopping and get a massage in the same place..... Quiet... professional and relaxing.
spoiled myself with hair braid and express pedicure , which was a very relaxing treat. a cou0p-le of braids came out too soon .
We had the opportunity to visit this spa & have hot stone massages. Unfortunately, the weather was poor that day so we didn't visit the lovely looking pool. The rest of the features of the spa were severely lacking. The "Hot" Tub wasn't even luke warm, the hydro-pool wasn't working nor was the steam room. All water supplied for tea was cold.I believe the masseuse did his best in accordance with his training. The towel used to provide privacy was extremely small & did not make me feel at all comfortable or relaxed. The price was very reasonable & perhaps the experience would have been improved if the weather was better & all spa features were in working order. I knew not to expect the same spa experience that is found at home but overall, we were disappointed.
I went there with a friend for curiosity. With walked there from Memories, about 15 minutes walk. The price is as in most places in Montreal. I had a full breaded head for 25 cp, wich is a very good price. The place itself is clean. You have to pay in cash. It is avery quiet place, and the staff is professional and polite.
We went for a massage here during our stay at Memories Azul. Very relaxing and well priced. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
