Yes, this is a very nice golf course with lots of "bag boys" that will carry your bags and wipe off your irons for a $10 tip. And they do have an outstanding restaurant with an excellent sommelier and enough fancy entrees to impress all of your friends or business associates. But if you are here in Saint George for the golf, save your money and go to The Ledges. For about 1/4 the cost, you'll get as good a course with better views and a lot less pretentiousness.
Dear Dawn C,Thank you for leaving us a review. I am so glad you loved your stay at the Inn at Entrada, and we really look forward to welcoming you back to the Inn next time you are visiting St. George!Regards,Nikole StevensonResort Manager
This course was extremely beautiful. It was partially carved out of a lava formation, and had elevation drops that were cool. It is difficult to play and the lava field was a ball eater! It was neatly kept and wonderful to play on.
I have played Entrata with one of my great friends whom is a member. I have never been treated so well from the second I pulled up to the end of my round. A gentleman named Gabe helped me with my bags and treated me like I was a member. Very courteous and helpful with clubs and a few pointers. The staff was great inside and also was treated great by another gentleman named Zach. Gabe asked about my round at the end and cleaned my clubs with no tip accepted.
Beautiful scenery. Interesting course. The final lava holes require a bit too much target golf. Play it for sure, but bring a few extra balls.
loved the design and the beauty of the course. the front and back nines are totally different, and be ready for the last four holes!
The Entrada Golf Course is probably the best conditioned course in St.George. The ambiance of the course is terrific with views of Snow Canyon. Three holes run through lava fields. The course, especially the back nine,is demanding, and can be punitive. A must for the avid golfer.
the course is so lush green it is a beautiful contrast to the red and brown mountains in the distance. Lots of water and lava features to the golf course. A sight to behold.
The course and the Inn where amazing. We have played many many golf courses and this one would be in our top ten. Condition of the course was excellent and challenging.
The front nine on this course are beautiful and enjoyable to play. BUT, the back nine is both great to play and great to just SEE. Most of the holes are carved out from large black lava boulders that make you think you are playing on the surface of a strange planet. If your ball heads in that direction and you don't get a favorable bounce...it is GONE!!!! Fun round for sure.
