I'm not a huge fan of tapestries and all, but this place is so beautiful. If you have a chance to stop in it is worth the experience.

If you happen to be in Silver City, The Common Thread is not to be missed. This is not just a store for people who love fabric art - it is a store for anyone who loves art, unique items and needs a special gift. My husband loved it and he doesn’t know the first thing about sewing or fabric.There is a huge variety of beautifully crafted items including quilted greeting cards, scarfs, wall hangings, clothing, and jewelry. The artists are incredibly imaginative and the care and skill that goes into the artwork is inspiring.This is a store that demonstrates the best of humanity. If that sounds excessive or over-the-top, check it out for yourself, I think you will agree.
