We have been here many times and have enjoyed it every time as it's really informative and each guide does the shows differently. The birds and the porcupine are wonderful. Each show includes different bird species so try and see more than one.The "dancing" owls will make you smile and keep your children entertained. It gets really hot in the summer, so be prepared with hats, water, sunblock and some patience - it's well worth it.
Was on my bucket list to get this close to an eagle ....and to actually hold and touch it was the most awesome experience. Thank you to the staff, handlers and Eagle Encounters from a senior person
WOW! We probably had one of the best adventures of our lives here! Entrance fee not bad at all! We spent a whole day here, they really give you reasons to stay and see so much and learn new things. From looking at all the beautiful owls, raptures and eagles, all animals being rehabilitated and preparing the ones they can to be released again into nature, shows and more.People with incredible knowledge. We had an opportunity to touch so many owls and even had owls sitting on our heads. We also had the opportunity to hold the Big Black Eagle - I don't have words for this experience. We played with a Big Porcupine named Sonic - Who knew they could be like a little friendly doggy just wanting love?We watched shows on the birds catching their pray in nature.Vulture shows and the Secretary bird show was just Incredible! WOW! a day of FUN and adventures you will never forget.
Well worth a visit, as the staff are really friendly as are the birds and especially the porcupine!! You have touch and stroke birds and reptiles and watch fascinating shows. Make sure you take your camera!
The focus is on rehabilitation and you can tell. This is a surprisingly good experience, especially for young families. Very instructive and the interactions with the Spotted Eagle owls is quite something.
Was an interesting visit - The eagles are lovely - however the overall experience was lacking - no interesting info shared by the rangers there. lots of birds to see but thats about it - you can touch all the owls but that about it...
Small, personal and perfect if you want to really meet and touch the animals. As 'seniors' we had tons of fun but missed the grandkids!
The kids (brave ones) will definitely love this place. The staff are quite informed and very accommodating. Try to get the event times first (such as eagle flights or feeding times) and make sure you attend. Extremely interactive and informative, definitely the highlights of the visit! Otherwise, you'll just be visiting to look at a lot of birds behind cages.
Hesitant in the beginning whether it would be worth the entrance fee- but it turned out a lovely afternoon and enjoyed it! Very educational and great for the kids.
