Best new MLB talent, small crowd, beautiful stadium and so convenient to the Windmill Inn and all shoping dining and movies. I'am from Idaho so the palm trees and green grass are why I keep comming back.
This is a modern, wonderfully laid out ball park. It has plenty of covered area (important in the Arizona sun, and open grass spectator areas in the outfield. Conveniently located in the center of Surprise. Tickets are affordable from the Cactus League online. March is the big month when all the teams are in town. See all your favorite players up close and personal. Many are available during practice sessions for autographs. Get your tickets now as all the "winter visitors" are coming to town in a month.
My criticism could be levelled at a number of venues. After a great afternoon at a really good facility, getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare. Going in, there are lots of people to guide you to your parking space. Where are these people when the game finishes ? Six thousand people were at the Royals v Reds game and they all leave at the same time and are all trying to access the same small access road. The venue should ensure that the same people that marshall you in, Marshall you out. A dis pointing end to a nice day.
a little difficult to get to if you don't know where you're going but they have plenty of space to park. Although my friend got sick off their food we haven't eaten there since we eat before or after a game
It may not be easy to get to, however it is one of the nicest parks in the Valley. It is an attractive stadium, spacious yet with the intimate feeling that makes spring training special. There are plenty of great seats in the shade. It is the only park where the batting cages are on the concourse. Parking has been free which is another treat. There is a wide variety of food, especially in the specialty tents along the concourse. there are several hotels down the block. The Rangers and Royals fans are lucky to have such a great venue.
One of the best spring training stadiums in AZ. Lots of parking and its Free!! Excellent views of the playing field from any seat.
A great field with a great atmosphere! The stadium is a newer stadium with lots of leg room. There are lots of food and beverage options. There is no bad seat in this stadium!
The ball park has great parking and a lot of entrances. The food booths are good and not really high priced. Staff is very friendly and seat are okay. Be careful of sun along the baselines, no shaded areas.
We saw the game between Kansas City and Texas Rangers. It was great baseball and we had great seats behind home plate. The volunteers we only to happy to direct one to the washrooms or to point out interesting displays. The food was as expensive as anywhere else in the same kind of stadium. We will go again if here at the same time of year.
We visited this park 2 years ago and have returned again this year to see the Texas Rangers Spring Training games. The games at this park are more expensive than other Spring Training parks but very much worth it. The volunteers that work the parking lot and stadium are so friendly and helpful. The seats in the stadium are comfortable and you can find seats in the shade if you desire. The food and drink vendors are also pricey but they have a lot to chose from. There is also several team logo shops onsite.
