A great place to stop and store up on pecans. They come in all forms and are a good buy. Don't forget the pecan logs and sugar/cinnamon pecans. Buy twice as many as you think you'll eat because the first bag will be gone before you are back on the inter-state. Easy off/on. One block east of exit. Worth the stop.
We have been going here for over 20 years. Love the variety of pecan and peach products..salsa, salad dressing, Pickles, nuts, candy, jelly and jams, etc.
This is one of our main stops when we go through Georgia to Florida. First off, they have clean restrooms and you're in a stretch of road where they are few and far between for miles. Secondly, the store is filled with every kind of pecan/nut product you can think of including fresh bagged pecans. They are delicious right out of the bag. A great stop.
We've been stopping here for years. This is the very best place to find anything related to the southern palate. Pecans, Peanuts, Jams Jelly's, Preserves, they've got it all. The employees are attentive, helpful and courteous. If you are headed up from Florida to visit the family or headed south to wait out the long winter, this is a must stop.
So happy I found this store. The places in Florida are tourist traps compared to this. Bought all my holiday gifts and nuts. Very large clean beautiful store. Stop here instead. Prices were slightly better here.
I drove my mom from Orlando to St. Louis and she insisted we stop for Adcock's pecans. She stops every time she drives through and I hadn't made the drive in decades. The place is an easy off / on I-75 and a very stripped down / no flair but clean store with all things pecans. Worth the stop if you like pecans, otherwise keep driving. ;-)
This hasn't been our first stop at Adcocks, but more like our fifth in the past few years but our first review. We love the variety of products offered here, the pecan logs are great, we bought a box of them this time along with a few pounds of pecans for later use. It's easy to get in and out of and the staff is always friendly. The prices are average and the quality is great. For you northerners that want to try something different grab a can of boiled green peanuts, you'll either love me or hate them, if you have some extra time to kill take a drive on US 82 and look for the roadside stands that sell the fresh HOT boiled ones. It's worth stopping at Adcocks and checking them out!
We have been stopping at Adcock's since the 90's on the way to/from Florida from Indiana. The prices have become higher and the quality lower over the years. We won't be going out of our way next trip, and we're sad to say it.
If you want delicious, fresh pecans this is the place to go. Sadly, we live in the St. Louis area and want be able to just stop in for some pecans. Besides pecans, they have peanuts, jams, jellies, fruit butters, candies and much. You could walk out of here totally broke, because there is so much to choose from. No samples.
as soon as i wright about this great store i'm calling and ordering some pecans, stopped there in sept. on my way back from ind.live in fl. paul and ruth morledge
