My family had a great day at DelGrosso's. The pizza was a reasonable price, rides for all ages, and the water park was great!
After passing DelGrosso's for years on I-99 we finally decided to plan a trip and we had a great time! The park has both all day and after 5pm passes that will give you access to both the amusement park and the water park. My husband and I went on a Wednesday evening and bought passes for $12.00 each that gave us access to both parks. Although many of the amusement park rides are aimed toward children the water park was great fun. There weren't a lot of people there so we were able to go down the watersides without having to wait at all.The park has some good food options as well as some good take home options. The family has a line of pasta and pizza sauces for sale - we took a few home and have really enjoyed them.
DelGrosso's Park is a great place for families. The food is very good; especially the pizza and the potato salad.
This is an extremely cute little family park that accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do - provide a lot of fun. All of the rides here are standard midway rides, so nothing exciting that you couldn't find at a carnival. However, they are all very well-maintained, clean, and safe (which you can't find at a carnival). There are a ton of rides packed together in a relatively small space and the park has a very lively and fun atmosphere - everyone there seemed to be having a good time.Admission to the midway area is free (and so is parking) and you can buy either tickets or an all-day pass for rides. We just wanted to ride a couple of things and then enjoy the food and shops, so only bought the tickets that we needed, which is a very nice benefit when visiting parks like this.We ate lunch while here and the food is great at very reasonable prices. We had an entire pizza for less than one small meal at most other parks. Also, the sloppy joe fries are incredible - a must have! This is a great little park with a great atmosphere. If I were to ever be passing by again, I am sure I would stop in for at least a few minutes if only just to walk around, ride the mouse coaster, and have some more fries of course.
A small enough amusement park that you can do it easily in one day and re ride some of your favorite rides. Very much a family atmosphere. Great area of kiddie rides as well as a good selection of adult rides too. We ate lunch and dinner in the park. Prices were very reasonable and the food was good. On Wednesdays's they have an Italian Dinner night but we missed going on Wednesday. One of the nice things about the park is you can buy an unlimited pass for rides and water park or if you are not all that adventurous but might ride the carousel or the train- you can just purchase tickets just to use for the rides you want to ride.
This charming little park is what a lot of other old and tiny amusement parks I've been to seem to be trying to achieve. They normally fall short but this place is great. It's clean and charming and everything feels safe and well maintained. It's super reasonably priced and the food is great. If you're looking for big thrill rides this isn't the park for you, but if you want to ride a tilt-a-whirl or other classic midway rides in a great spot, this is fun way to spend an afternoon.
Friends of mine invited me to go with them to see their daughter perform with the local high school band. I walked around the park with them afterwards and road the mouse mini coaster..for which I was laughed at all the rest of the day...hey what can I say..I'm a sucker for roller coasters even small ones. Its a cute small park that does a great job keeping kids happy.. What else could you want?
I visited here for the first time last weekend with my husband and our 2 toddlers. Parking was a bit of a mess - we arrived after 1pm and though there were plenty of spaces in the front of the lot, the people working directed us to the back, it just didn't make sense. It also smells like horse manure here for some reason. I did like that the kiddieland is as soon as you enter the park so we did not have to go far - great design. We foolishly paid $19 for our 2 year old to ride but she literally rode 2 and was done. Tip for people with little ones - either buy a year's pass if you think you'll go more than twice, or just pay per ride.We had pizza for lunch with was hot and fresh (a whole pie actually came out faster than individual pieces!), but water is $2.50/bottle - YIKES!2 negatives:1, I wish the park was smoke-free. The area designated for smoking is literally between the restroom and the first kiddieland ride - seriously? I could not think of a worse area.2, The restrooms do not have changing tables in them, however, the building next to the restrooms is called the "Infant Care Center" and has a soft seating area, 2 rooms for breastfeeding, and 3 changing tables. This is my problem - there is a camera facing directly at the 3 changing tables. I felt incredibly uncomfortable knowing that any creep could be watching me change my 11 month old daughter - I don't know if there is a liability or security reason for this, but I found it gross and positioned myself so that the camera could not see my half-nude child.
I love the rides i love the water park the food is good i love everything there it is so fun and awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) <3
I have to say this is one of the best parks there is in pa. Never overly crowded and the prices are way reasonable. I have been going here for years and I will continue to do so. Prices are great, free parking, you can bring your own food(except for in the pool area) the food prices are even great. 1.50 for a slice of pizza! You go to Hershey or anywhere else and you can triple that. If your going here for thrill rides like huge roller coasters this isn't the place for you but if you want great family fun for $19 a piece and do both relaxing rides and water rides this is the place. My only advise look for coupons. There on delgrossos spaghetti sauce.
