if you wanna feel how it's like flying above pine trees,go & experience the longest zip line in asia. it's so much fun that i wanna do it again once we get a chance to go back to dahilayan forest park.
The place is quite far from the city but I can say that you'll never have a dull moment while you're there. The place is cold especially early in the morning and it boasts a lot of activities from ATV, Horseback Riding, Giant Ball-Rolling, Zipline Rides, Giant Swings and Play Areas (for kids). The fees are quite expensive but reasonable since the place has excellent architecture and landscape. The area looks like a typical American forest cabin boasting with lots of activities.
Imagine to my surprise that there is such a thing as a Dahilayan Forest Park. First and foremost i find the place very nice, surrounded by pine trees and a log cabin looking hotel. As if i was in Baguio. But the best thing for me are the zip rides. We got ticket to the 3 zipline including the longest zip line. If you want to experience the feeling of flying then this is the place to go. With 840 meters and cruising high above the tree tops, this really is one of the best experience once can have both as an adventure and as a nature lover. I would really like to go back to this place. Kudos to the operator of this park. I find them very professional and with safety always in check. We also got to buy the photo while in action.
wow, most of the animals is here , but it's not reAL it's plastic hahaha, but it's really nice they a have a picnic place where you can eat with your family and friends inside the park
Bukidnon was the third stop to our Mindanao Adventure with my High School Pals! Upon arriving in the Highlands of Dahilayan, we were greeted by the cool mountain weather, truly similar to Baguio City without the pollution! The Rooms were very clean and interestingly designed! No need for Air conditioning systems and fans! There is no Television set but you don't actually need it because there is just so much to do around the area. Will never ever forget our experience and we are all dreaming for a repeat!
The place was great, it was full adventure for the whole family yet it did not ruin the environment. It is a great escape for family who are used to city life. With the greatness of the place and it's cool weather, the people/staff were very accommodating. They were very efficient considering that they are out numbered by the peopl who visits the place. Cusomer service was really a plus! Keep it up and we'll be back soon!=)
The park is far.. the rides are expensive (luge is more expensive than that of singapore) .. if you are going to experience all the rides then be prepared financially .Luge is P600/person, ATV is 650/ person , zipline is P600 (it is the most expensive zipline i've known, the one in lake sebu is only P300, in north cot it's only P400) . The food in the resto is not something that you would like to eat again but the price is reasonable. The coffee is so ordinary , at P90.00 /cup , i felt that I was rubbed :-(..coffee at dunkin donuts is way better.
This amusement park is packed with activities for all ages. We especially liked the Zip line adventure and the Luge. THere is a hotel next door with a restaurant in the lobby and clean restrooms. They have unusual activities you wont find anywhere. It was fun spending half a day there.
Our stay at the Dahilayan Forest Park was generally good. Playground for small kids was nearby. Zip line and other outdoor activities were great. Excellent location. It was a memorable stay, all in all.We had a few quibbles though: restaurant staff were not attentive (probably because they're so few) so that one time I had to literally shout to call their attention; room did not have anything for children such as TV and we were not informed of this, so if you have kids aged 4,5,6 with you, that's going to be a problem; no wifi anywhere (only for hotel staff, I was told); the playground for the kids lacked maintenance -- portions of the grounds were muddy and dirty, damaged facilities (one of them with exposed long and rusted nails that could injure the kids), trash and water in the tire tube swing, broken ground bricks that could easily trip the kids, dirty slides, etc. Because the children's enjoyment was the most important part of the trip and children's amusement is one central come-on of Dahilayan, it's surprising the park management was not as fastidious in the upkeep of the playground.
We visited again dahilayan forest park last Dec. 27, 2014...i tried another ride...horseback riding was fun...riding the Luge turned to be quite awesome after doing it 2 rounds, included in the package was a mini golf. where it was the first time of actually playing that kind of sport and it felt good.
