Highly not recommended. Garden Salad served with ketchup as dressing. No food was available except for roast pork which was not good.
Drive through fields and fields of pineapples as far as the eye can see (it's quite a sight!), to check out the Del Monte Country Club. Nothing much to do here really unless you're into golf, but the food is surprisingly pretty good! My sister and I enjoyed their pineapple shake and cheeseburgers. My friends on the other hand love their steak. This is not a must-see attraction, but if you find yourself in the neighborhood (for example if you're coming home from Dahilayan), it might be worth your time to drop by.
The food and prices were Perfect, we all loved the Steak, very tender, I loved the mango float very delicious.
My husband and brother in law played 18 holes and had a great time. The golf course was stunning, the caddies experienced and friendly. Golf carts are not available but it was great exercise for an early morning tee off. There was an area for putting or practicing your golf swing. The clubhouse served excellent food. The steak, bread rolls and pineapple upside cake are highly recommend! Service from the staff was equally excellent. I would go back even though I am not a golfer.... For the food and peaceful ambience.
Played here during my college days and the course is well maintained. The trees tall and green. The club house serves up excellent food and the steaks are delicious! no golf cart required as it is an easy walking course.
This is a proof of we are what we eat... i mean the cows... I have heard of this rumor that cows in Del konte Farms are fed with pineapples...This was confimed when we got the country club steak! It has this pineapple taste..? tender, and juicy! great ambience especially if thei would v your first stop aftrr a long winding ride...
After a long day in Dahilayan, we headed back to Cagayan De Oro and dropped by this Del Monte Golf Course Restaurant. The food is good, they've got a reasonable price. The delmonte Pineapple Juice? Bottomless for 20pesos! :) :) Recommended though.
We went around the Del Monte Golf Course and we were told that it has remained exactly the way it had decades ago. The cottages were quaint. The grounds very clean, and quiet. The Club still had its old period furniture. It has the biggest pineapple plantation in the world and it is a sight to see. Didnt have time to sample the fare for lack of time, but we were told that pineapple juice is P20.00 bottomless! Now thats worth a visit...
We came here for a steak lunch and we got them. Since this is Del Monte, they provided an all you can drink pineapple juice. It is such a big chunk of land! Love the experience!
The vast land of pineapples really amazed me as I watched from our van. We stepped out for 10 minutes to get some shots. As we arrived at the country club, I was amazed with the golf course. We missed the steak since we didn't have enough time to stay at the canteen and order because we were all excited to go to Dahilayan. The place was clean and very well maintained.
