My wife and I paid our $2 and walked out on the pier. First we were greeted by a pelican sitting on the rail. You could get within 3 feet and he did not move. Latter there was a crane also sitting on the railing. He also seemed to enjoy having people stand close to him while both having their picture taken. Their are toilets so you can enjoy the time on the pier. Will do it again and watch the fishermen.
The pier is great! There are placards showing birds, marine life, and fish. Our hope was to see sea-life, but no luck on the day we visited.
Unlike the other state park just down the street, it costs nothing to park here. So if you just want to park next to the beach for awhile, maybe phone some friends and soak up the sun, this is your place.
Great views and things to see aqn do, dolphins and some great fishin talk, well worth the couple dollar fee didn't fish but saw several fish caughtIf you are gonna fish bring a lunch
If the weather is nice and you fancy taking a walk out onto the fishing pier, it's $2/adult. If you want to fish it's more and of course you'll need a license and gear.
Took a some friends out to the pier. They had never been on it and they enjoyed it. I noticed that previous reviews and the stated fare for going out on the pier was $2.00. They must raise the price to $3.00 per person on March 1st. If they are going to do this they had change their Website. We were charged $3.00 per person
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pier is nice and you can possibly see dolphins! My only dislike was the fee. It costs $3 a person, so for my large family, it added up. Also, if you aren't fishing, you pay that just for a quick walk down.
Nice walk out over water. I don't think they should charge $2.00 for a walk out to end, they should make their money on people who fish out there. After you get clear to end you can't go to edge as it only for fishermen
Nice but expensive if you were going to fish much. $8.00 day but haven't seen any fish this month. $2.00 just to walk out back.
We went here to do a little fishing because we did not want to go on an overpriced, crowded fishing boat. Once we rented our gear and bought lure, we caught fish left and right by dropping our bait into the water. It was a really fun experience!
