This really was a gem as someone mentioned. We did beach hoping on one of our last days to several beaches just to see how different they were. A photo from this beach adorns our bedroom now it was that serene. Absolutely stunning with few coral reef out croppings and very sunny. Beach itself was very clean and not far from parking. Definitely a magical beach to share with a significant other. When we got there early afternoon there was 4 people on the entire beach as opposed to around 500-600 on Horseshoe Bay.
Great little beach. Make sure you get some dogs from the girls at the food cart! Easy bus route access. Lots of taxis stop there if you need one.
We arrived here on mountain bikes from the Railway Trail. It was beautiful, serene and perfect. Beautiful blue fish swimming in there, and a little seagull with no toes we affectionately dubbed Stumpy. ;) There are bathrooms there - old fashioned toilets - like the sort you find at a camping place, but clean. I'd love to know what the bunker was for! I was too chicken to go in.
I visited Bermuda with my boyfriend on a cruise earlier this month. Jobsons cove was by far our favorite place to visit. From the beautiful pink sand to the colorful fish, it couldn't have been any better. It's just one bus stop away from the infamous and over crowded horse shoe bay. Our only regret was visiting this on our last day. A bit of advise, bring your own snorkel gear. Snorkeling here is tons better than any over priced excursion.
There are fish swimming all around you and beautiful, crystal-clear water. I never saw anyone else at the beach at all. Amazing swimming and pictures.
This is a great place to get some beautiful pictures of the beach and of loved ones. It wasn't crowded while we were there (twice on separate days) and the water level is perfect. The cove provided some measure of protection from the more aggressive waves coming in from the ocean.
We went to this beach while we went to Bermuda with Royal caribbean cruise. The beach is very clean, beatiful and quiet. It's just like our private beach. No one else was on the beach while our family was there. The water is very clear; we can see the small fish swimming around your toes. We swam, climbed up to the rock, jumped into the water. Kids sat on the sand and play. We had so much fun. We love this place. If you have a chance to go to Bermuda next time, we definitely will go to this beach again!
We were really looking forward to going back to Jobson's Cove during our recent visit to Bermuda. When we got there, it was an absolute mess. The hurricane that went through just a few weeks ago really washed in some trash to this beach. It was sad to see it had not been cleaned up. Of course the main tourist beaches were cleaner, and yes we do understand they just had a hurricane come through, but it was still disappointing for such a beautiful place to be left so dirty just because it isn't a main tourist attraction. The amount of trash left around the island doesn't make me want to come back to Bermuda so quickly. It was disappointing
This was a highlight of our trip to Bermuda! A local had highly recommended the beach when we mentioned we were going to Horseshoe Bay beach during our stay in Bermuda. We got to observe some beautiful fish in relatively shallow water. Not great options for food vendors, so it's a good idea to bring your meal or snacks with you.
This was another quiet beach that provided ample opportunity for snorkeling. Excellent views and plenty of fish!
