Something for everyone at this stadium. Clean, great staff, many seat selections available. Some with wait staff. Thursday $1 beer night is always good time.
Outstanding bang for your buck, food and beverage prices are not too bad and you can get great seats for less than a ticket to the movies. We go to at least 5 or 6 games a year and are never disappointed.
No place beats Parkview Field for a place to enjoy a ballgame with family or friends. From the warm welcome at the entrance to the great variety of ball park food to the game itself, it's a great place to spend time. There are no bad seats (at least none that we've ever sat in). Food is creative -- hot dogs, nachos, BBQ plus Apple-themed treats that reflect the Johnny Appleseed "TinCaps" theme. Who wouldn't love an apple cobbler with ice cream on a summer day? The food stations and the park are open in the summer for people to come in and eat -- whether or not there's a game. Kudos to the city of Ft. Wayne for making great use of a terrific facility.
We've had front row seats since the stadium was in the old place and love Parkview Field, not just for baseball anymore!
Minor league field at its best . You have to see it to believe the view, seats, and prices!Great place for family and friends to enjoy baseball.
lots of room, a bar, bathrooms, batting cages and more. There was not a good wooden dance floor, there needs to be a portable dance floor used.
This ball field is manly used for minor league baseball, with the occasional concert thrown in to the mix. They have excellent staff and a wide variety of food and beverages to choose from.
I am not a baseball fan, but I love going to Parkview Field. The food is reasonably priced, they have cup holders at every seat, tickets are sold for as low as $5, entertainment is worth the price of the tickets, and the best thing is the fireworks. You have to check the schedule for fireworks and entertainment schedules. Definitely worth visiting when passing through the Fort.
Where else can you spend under $50 for tickets for two, beer and something to eat and be within 15 rows from the field?
A teacher friend asked if we'd videotape and photograph her daughter's Catholic Church wedding. The wedding was beautiful, with all of their nieces wearing red or white and having a special role. The reception was held close-by in the Lincoln Financial Group's Suite at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne. The wedding party had the reception suite beautifully decorated using acorns, wood tree branches, and paper flowers. Pictures were also taken down on the Tincaps Baseball Field. Ample room allowed for the guests' tables with chairs, and for the wedding party's special, long table with their chairs. A separate area was set up for serving of the food. At the end of the area, a dance floor was also was set up for the wedding dances and for the light-hearted dancing that followed. The Lincoln Financial Group's Suite offered a wonderful reception area.
