I was looking for a turquoise ring and the clerk at the Railroad Depot gift shop suggested Thunder Eagle. Everything is made locally. The saleswoman was very nice. I liked shopping there because she didn't try to to convince me, she let me make up my own mind. Needless to say, I am now wearing my beautiful ring and enjoying all the compliments!
I was in Williams just to see Grand Canyon, but now I know there is another great attraction- Thunder Eagle native art store. It has excellent selection of jewelry, I loved everything! I spend about an hour there trying to choose what I want, but it is was not easy since store such an amazing choice of beautifully made pieces! Thanks to helpful and very nice managers I finally choose 3 rings and 2 pairs of earrings! Wish I lived closer to visit store more often.
Salesman definitely has an attitude!!! As a senior citizen, I couldn't afford the items I was interested in. He lowered the price, but still not affordable to me. He arrogantly said" go ahead and buy your cheap costume jewelry". Totally classless!!!
Beautiful shop has a lot of varieties and knew everything about natives!I would recommend This shop to everyone it's a very nice and very unique shop and very reasonable prices.
We happened upon this shop during a short visit to Williams. The owner and his son were so nice and helpful. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to find matching turquoise rings for myself and my daughter. There were so many beautiful rings to choose from. I finally decided on the rings, much to my husband's delight. It was so interesting to learn about the Sleeping Beauty mine located near Globe, Arizona and how it is still in operation today. If you are in the area you must stop in and see all of the beautiful jewelry and other Native American art in this shop. Highly recommend.
This place is really a museum of native American Indian Art. You must see it. I was amazed of the art and crafts. Low keyed staff are there if you have any questions...no pressure.
If you are into authentic Native American jewelry, this is the place to go. I bought myself two gorgeous pieces and it was so hard to narrow it down as everything was gorgeous. The young man who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable, without being pushy. I love the pieces I bought and will cherish them for many years to come.
Visited here after visiting several turquoise shops in Tucson...this by far the best...all information labels and shop owner very good with answers about the various types and sources of the stones...a number of unique artists not found elsewhere. A must stop if you like native american and turquoise jewelry.
This is a quaint place to visit while walking the main street of Williams. Take a step back in time and view beautiful artwork, jewelry, and historic artifacts from local artists and Native Americans. Prices are not too bad in comparison to other similar places.
Assorted bits of artwork and jewelry from local artists. Prices are fairly reasonable also. I bet you find something you like.
