Though a bit expensive and limited by time, we enjoyed our time here. It seemed like each line (lines are made up of many various, unique and sometimes difficult ways to cross from platform/tree to platform/tree) had at least one zip line. The system that keeps you safe is a little difficult get the hang of for littler ones, so plan on helping them along the way. Staff are on hand to help, but there are only so many.I'd recommend coming with a lunch and enjoying it on a picnic table under the canopies when everyone is done. It's pretty, shaded and wasn't too busy (Friday early afternoon). Or, it might be cool after dark, since there are twinkle lights set-up to light the way (bring bug spray for that, they could be dense in the evening - we had no problems in the early afternoon). There are no lockers of any kind, it's at your own risk (leave your valuables at home). Please keep in mind, once you are strapped in to your harness it's cumbersome to get it off to use the restroom (though staff are on hand to help when you are ready), and once you are locked in to a line, you are on it for the duration, and some take a while to complete. Do yourself a favor and go before you pay.So, why not 5 stars? First, the cost was pretty high, I see the amount of work, upkeep, etc that goes into it, so I think it's fair, but for the amount of time you get, it's a bit high. Second, there was a general feeling, from only a small few staff members, who seemed to think children should know how to handle the harness and cables system like pros after a 5 minute orientation. With the price you pay, they could've been more helpful. Most employees were fantastic, though.
We took our daughters, 11 and 15, to The Adventure Park to celebrate Father's Day. It was absolutely amazing! It was well run and directions for use of the course were very clear. It is definitely best to follow the advice of the staff when choosing which course to take. We chose a blue course that was extremely challenging...but we persevered and made it through! We will definitely be going back!
I went with one of my friends who isn't so adventurous and is scared of heights, but even she had a great time! i will definitely be going back to try the harder levels!
My husband and 13 year old twins have been there 6 times between them. They have various courses for different ability levels. They train everyone before letting them on the courses and stress safety. You can even go at twilight, as they light up the courses. It's a bit expensive, but you can find deals on Groupon and the price is lower in the evening. Expect to spend at least 3 hours there. You'll have a blast!
After you are harnessed up and taught "the ropes", you will start on the easiest obstacle course in the trees! You will walk across tight ropes, on moving beams, crawl through swinging barrels and many times at the end zip line down from the course. You are safely harnessed to a safety wire in case you slip. There are 6 levels of courses. I climbed through the first 3 levels with ease and when I got to blue - I decided to skip the easier blue and head straight for the harder level… This level was significantly harder and more challenging. The entire attraction is fun! It will let you know just how in shape you really are!
My daughter and I took my 9 year old grandson to the Adventure course. At first I was a little apprehensive and didn't know how I would fare. However, after a brief instruction, we were tackling the course and getting more confident each minute. The zippings were great. The staff was excellent and always around if you needed any assistance. I don't know who enjoyed it more my grandson or I. Am ready to try again. There's always a bigger challenge.
My wife and I went here on a Thursday to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing time. I would call to find out if there are any camps or groups already coming when you make plans during the summer. There are courses for all levels and the price is perfect. The safety system for the harnesses are unique and keep you safe at all times. If you are going with someone that does not want to do the courses, there are paths with benches under all the courses so they can watch you on the course. (There is no charge to watch) The staff is great with kids and adults. They were very helpful when we were on the course and getting frustrated or stuck. We saw kids of all ages (6+) having fun. We plan on taking our ten year old daughter there soon!!!
We went with kids ages 17 to 9. we all had a blast. this is scary/safe as my nine year old says. It is challenging, and really, really fun. The staff was helpful and the demo before starting was just enough. We all really enjoyed it. It is kind of expensive, so for us it is not an every day activity.....that is my only complaint
My wife and I went here for our anniversary, IT WAS AWESOME! If you want an adrenaline rush come here. Suspended from a single wire, aerial obstacle courses 20+ feet in the trees! Our experience was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the courses ranged from easy to very challenging and heart pounding. The only complaint I would have is that it is somewhat difficult to find. It was $39 per person weekday $41 weekend for 3 hours of climbing. You start with a tutorial then have to complete a few easy courses before you take on the more challenging ones. they range from purple, yellow, green, blue, black and double black. We only got to blue and our final blue challenge was exciting and a little scary. Take a trip here and have a great time!
This is a 'ropes' outdoor climbing and zip-line course on steroids. For those who don't know, 'ropes' courses consist of climbing, obstacle and balance tests, 10 to 30 feet up in the trees. While demanding, strict focus on safety really builds your trust and confidence to try anything.Adventure Park is very well structured, staffed and equipped. Step One - get set up in a climbing harness. Step 2 - basic on the ground training. Step 3 - try the easy courses and work your way up.Staff is young, but very helpful. Equipment is first rate, sourced from around the world. Individual courses range from mild to killer - each station an ultimate challenge. Our group ranged from 11 to 61, and we all had fun and immediately started talking about coming back.
