I'd say this is the best trekking in ushuaia and the hardest one. I suggest you to not go alone, sometimes it's dengerous and the trail it's not the well signed. But the reward at end is breathtaking, the landscape and the lake is one of the most beatiful things that i've ever seen. It took me almost all day to go and come back. The glacier it's known as 'Laguna de los Tempanos" and to get there, you need to take a cab, which cost me AR$100. Try to get a map and more information on your hostel/ hotel. When you get there, there is a farmer house, and if you speak spanish, try to talk with the Local, I think his name is Santos, and he helped us to get in the right trail. Its a must go trekking, but it's not for everyone.
A steep and challenging ascent brings you into a special place. I was fortunate to have a sunny day and a lovely guide Sebastian. The air, vegetation and views were worth the effort. For trekkers this is highly recommended.
The walk to see the glaciar is a nice warm up for a patagonian travel. The glaciar itself is not as impressive as other seem on cities nearby, but you get a nice view of the city from there
Desde o início as paisagens impressionam. Lindo.
