Huge assortment of machine guns. They have different packages available. They were easy to work with and made a package to fit our group.
Great Fun, Great Range, Great place to take the Family. This is a must visit for anyone going to Yellowstone Park.
Our group had an amazing time at Big Gun Fun. The price was reasonable compared to the wide variety of weapons available. The staff was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. They explained in detail the safe operation and background of the weapon you picked to shoot. Most importantly, safety is their No. 1 priority! I have shot at gun ranges around the world and found this one to be right at the top of my list not only for the variety of weapons but because of the emphasis on safety!!!
Took a trip to Yellowstone and Montana w/ my son for his 30th birthday. Shooting a machine gun was one of the top things on his list to do while visiting, so once the dates were set he quickly went to work to find out where to go to achieve this. Enter Yellowstone Big Gun Fun! Given what you get out of it, the price is 100% worth it. The shooting experience was great, but the instructor/proprietor was an unexpected, and VERY welcome surprise addition—he's worked in the firearms world for many years and has experienced and done all sorts of stuff that makes him the perfect person to be running a place like this. In addition to getting to use fully automatic guns we got several informative and really fun mini history lessons (for instance, we now where the practice of calling someone a 'wingnut' comes from!). And he was VERY safety conscious and was right there to ensure nothing unsafe/untoward happened. It went GREAT!!Don't miss out on this if you're in the area!
I went to Big Gun Fun very excited to shoot a machine gun for the first time, but did feel a bit of trepidation. That was put to ease as soon as I started talking to the very friendly and informative—to say nothing of his professionalism and clear love of what he was doing—proprietor. He was great! More than great! He shared all sorts of fantastic history w/ us, explained his background, then went into detail talking about the firearms available to fire, and even more so the ones I chose (once I FINALLY made the decision!).The packages are all reasonably priced, the only downside is how quickly the fun of shooting is over, I could easily have spent at least an entire day there. I ended up going w/ a three-gun package, choosing to shoot an MP5, an (almost) one-of-a-kind Tommy gun (stick mag, not drum), and...a Gatling gun! In hindsight I SORT OF wish I'd gone w/ an AK47 or M4 over the Gatling, but realistically when will I ever have the chance to shoot one of THOSE again?!If you're traveling an in the vicinity of the beautiful town of West Yellowstone, MT and have a bit of spare time I ABSOLUTELY recommend stopping here and giving it a shot—pun intended. You will most definitely not regret spending the money. And, though we weren't traveling w/ children so I can't speak from firsthand experience, I feel that the atmosphere would be fine for most children of an adequate age to be introduced to firearms—and I have a hard time imagining that you could find a more knowledgable and adept instructor/supervisor elsewhere.
We had a great time shooting the various guns that we had bought thru the package deals. Not cheap but it was a fun experience
Very nice people, very knowledgeable about each weapon they have, and give a little background on each gun you pick to shoot. Love itTry the Kriss Vector, super fast shooting!
very nice wellcome and it was the fisrt time i used a gun .you have to try even if you don't like guns and make you your idea about this experience.so cool
Very friendly and easy - Brad helped me and my boys (age 8 & 10) on the target range. Hassle free, worth the price.
My husband loved it...twice during our week vacation! The service was phenomenal and the experience was unique, something that is not available where we live.
