Excellent spic & span layout - A very genuine touch & feel experience with all the displayed items. There is no washroom available for visitors.
U went to Shimla and didn't visit Annadale ... huh? Now that's a shame !!Greenery to it's par excellence and flabbergasting golf shots to be viewed along with the army museum ...
This place is walking distance from my residence (Yes :D) and i have grown up around this beautiful place. This was the polo ground during british eraNot must advertised, this is a quite and beautifully maintained ground being used for golf and army training. While civilians are not allowed inside the ground, the log huts from the british era have been converted into an army museum.Come here and you will be in a different world all together. In case you are athletic and have stamina to walk, you can take the heritage walk from annandale to Chaura Maidan .. else just drive through the dense forest.Totally refreshing and heavenly :)
Shimla as such has nothing much to see but Annandale is something that one must visit. Beautiful landscaping will make you feel in heaven. Well-maintained grass and the entire area gives you a feel of paradise. We enjoyed every bit of it. The information provided by the army museum was worth spending the time there. Its an ideal place for photography lovers and I would love to go there just to do some more photography and enjoy the serenity there.
What a lovely place to go and spend some time. Its a tranquil place compared to the other tourist spots so you dont see too much crowd here unlike other places.
army heritage museum is too gud.lots to see and knw.Vry beautiful campus.best place in shimla after ridge.
It is very beautiful and pristine place. Well maintained garden by the army. Army museum is a must visit place. Reach it by 1 pm if you want to enjoy the place fully.
This beautiful spot is the most peaceful of all Shimla's tourist attractions. We were fortunate to be taken there courtesy an Army friend, we were in line for a wonderful time. The golf course is out of this world, extremely picturesque and lush green. The original name of the place was Anna dale named after the love interest of a British officer, however it seems to have got corrupted over the ages. The calm in the early morning hours is to be experienced. One of our best stops in Shimla. A must visit.
Beautiful view at the golf course and army museum. The benches and platforms are strategically placed so that you get a beautiful spot for photography. I also loved the weapons and tanks at display
What a place to visit!!. Very calm, well maintained and informative place to visit..good place for nice photoshoots too..
