I.m a season ticket holder to the Indianapolis Colts so I may be biased but we enjoy it very much. We are up to 4 seats and if possible will aquire more!!
This is a great stadium! What a great way to spend a fall afternoon watching the Colts play with the roof open. Plenty of parking close by as well as good restaurants.
Go for the game, but be sure to check out the stadium. Take the escalator to the top - see the view - walk the corridors. Tons of fun!
driving by Lucas Oil is inspiring, while imagining the "A" in Lucas that is on the roof is as large as a 2-story house. once inside, the cleanliness, comfort and convenience within the facility make it a pleasure for any event.... including sunshine when it's appropriate to have the rooftop open!
Tours available. Good luck at finding parking for a game. Plenty of great places to eat within walking distance since stadium is downtown. Know where your seats will be before you buy. Corners have blind spots. Come and see!
This is a very nice facility inside and out. The bricks are an added bonus. The cost of the food and beer at a football game is too high, but the place is really nice.
Lucas Oil Stadium is a beautiful facility. I love it when the roof is open on a Warm Indiana Summer Day. Most seats offer a really good view of the field. I think it is a "Must See" if you are in Indy ~ ~ ~
I am a Bengals fan who lives in Indiana and went to the Colts vs Bengals playoff game. I sat in the second row from the field and watched Bengals fans get mocked and accosted by Colts fans. So much so they threw out 2 Colts fans for trying to pick a fight with a Bengals fan and then they tried to sneak back in. The stadium food was terrible and extremely over priced.
Spending an evening in the venue of a Superbowl is always inspiring...we enjoyed the sights and sounds along with a thousand or so other folks...a rare opportunity to literally be on the field where you know millions around the world had focused just three years ago...Lots of eye candy with Lucas' racing involvement on display and no small number of men were delighted by the arrival of a handful of Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders to add to the fun atmosphere.Best of all, completely accessible from JW Marriott without having to go outdoors!
The stadium is great when the roof panels are pulled back and the big window on the North end is open and you can see the Indianapolis skyline. Easy to find your seats and lots of food vendor stations. Great place for a Super Bowl......
