We purchased a package through Certifikids to stay one night, tube, ice skate, and play at Bogey's. What an amazing deal for such a fabulous family trip! Everyone from the front desk, to the wait staff, to the people running the tubing/skating facilities, went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and safe. Smiles all around! We have three children (2, 8, 11) and there was something for everyone. Our two year old went down the hill once but he enjoyed playing in the snow and climbing the kid hill all the same. The older kids loved the tubing and skating, as did my husband and I. We went to Bogey's for dinner and fun. The arcade and Ballocity are perfect way to end a fun day outside! Ballocity is amazing!! The kids played until closing. The food was surprisingly great! I didn't know what to expect as I thought it would cater to kids but it had a great menu and everything was delicious!Overall, this was a perfect little get-away. Love the fact that it was only 90 minutes from DC. Thank you Heritage Hills for such a wonderful time!
Great ride with kiddie hills as well as ice skating. There were plenty of staffers on hand to make sure people were flowing and to keep everyone safe. Had a wonderful time!
Since my stay was during the week there wasn't a long wait to get up the hill to snow tube. The runs got faster once the sun went down. I didn't have enough time to go skating.
You fly down on your own tube - they hook you up to a tow rope and it carries you back up! That was FUN! Its an all day pass. The pub "Knickers" Yumm-O! Great prices lots of fun. Overnight packages available. Staff was super nice... And I'm a senior... WooHoo Fun!
There were two hills open along with the ice skating rink. Having only two tube runs resulted in up to a 20 minute wait at the top of the hill. This is mostly due to the fact that they haven't gotten much snow yet. I expect that the others will open once more snow arrives. The tube lift was repeatedly dropping riders off the line requiring a stop and restart. Still easier than walking up the hill, but clearly a chronic issue that needs to be addressed. Not too much of an inconvenience if you're patient. The ice skating rink was average. Ice quality was just OK, uneven and choppy at times. The skates have been pretty heavily worn however we found all sizes to be available whenever we needed them. The firepits were great. Because it was opening weekend they didn't have any s'mores kits yet but it was still a nice reprieve from the cold. The restaurant was good for dinner. Nothing special but adequate. Plenty of restaurants close by to choose from if you don't want to stay onsite.Overall we had a very good time. Given how late they're open and the fact that we live only 2.5 hours away I don't think we'd make it an overnight trip again. A single day is more than enough time to tube and skate.
Heritage Hills was a 2 hour drive from us. We arrived early, got our tickets, and immediately started tubing. It was fun! While it was busy, the wait to get a tube was no longer than a few minutes. Ice skating was fun too! We got some hot chocolate and kept going. The hotel staff was great. My only issue is that bathrooms were kind of far which was tough for my little guy. There were some snow hills for the kids to play on too. The deal we got also included tickets to a play area / arcade / restaurant in town which the kids loved. We went on a Sunday--Monday and were disappointed to find that website said the hills opened at 4pm on Monday and our check-out was 11. Upon checking out we found they do open it for guests (sometimes) from 10-1 so needless to say the kids were so happy. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be coming back next year.Plus Room Service!!! yay!
We went on a Holiday. It was so much fun! Employees are great! All so nice and helpful. You can choose to walk up the hill or ride in your tube on the lift. The line kept moving fairly quickly. We ate at Knicker's pub onsite. Waiter was excellent and food was delicious! We will definitely go back!
Unless you work for the resort, don't waste your time at heritage. The lines are LONG. In your allotted amount of time you can only go down the hill a handful of times making the amount you just spent frustrating. Only way I would return is if I had a gift certificate or an amazing coupon

Went with a large group of friends. Parking was easy and free. $32/pp on a Saturday for tubing. They also had a small ice rink, but that was additional. Sufficient tubes were provided. Lines were quick early in the day and got a little longer as the day went on. Typically the longest wait was about 15 minutes or more. You can walk up the hill or get towed. The wait at the top was pretty minimal. The furthest 3 lanes were the quickest. The first few were for the smaller kids and those wanting to make a 'train'. Employees were all very friendly. There are firepits, restaurant, food truck and pub. You can also bring your own food/drink. Restrooms provided enough room to change clothes if needed.
