Enjoyed a leisurely afternoon on the Ninkasi outdoor patio. Great atmosphere, nice crowd, easy to find and the best part - good tastings with many choices served by friendly staff. Definitely a place to drop in when in Eugene.
Very nice quick stop in March 2014 to fill a growler. Everyone was in costume, I hope. Friendly pourers even with large crowed.I'll stop by whenever I drive through Eugene, OR.
We popped in, as our first stop in Eugene, to try a couple of brews. We were not disappointed!Excellently crafted beers with a good selection. Service was efficient and the Sammitch cart outside is a quirky treat for organic specialities and items like the orgasmitch! A great place to stop, eat simple food and drink good quality beer!
Stopped on our way to Portland for a pint of the Quantum Pale Ale and lunch from the Sandwich League food cart. Good and friendly service in the tap room. Beer lovers, this is a great stop.
Ended up being one of our first stops in Eugene as it was in the neighborhood we stayed in back in October. Walked in and saw they had some different tasting flights. I was amazed that I could get five small beers for $7! The young lady helping me was great, figuring out which I'd like the best. I ended up with five winners! If you're there and are a Guinness fan you have to try the Oatis Stout-fantastic! I walked by another evening and they had a band in their really cool outdoor area, but couldn't make it back to enjoy it. Highly recommend you spend some time here if you're in the neighborhood!
Not that old, but quickly becoming an iconic Eugene spot. That is a good thing. Breweries were rare in Eugene during my student days in the 1990's, so to see them popping up now, especially one like Ninkasi, makes me a little wistful. But I now have a place to go for football days.Ninkasi has great beer, but they have such a cool facility. I especially like cool nights because that is an excuse to bask in the warmth of the enormous fireplace. A welcome addition to the emerald city, and quickly making a reputation throughout the West Coast. A must for anyone visiting Eugene.I recommend Tricerahops.
Ninkasi is always a fun place to stop in Eugene. Of course the beers are great, but the crowd is almost always sociable and makes Ninkasi a fun place to grab a beer with friends. The outdoor patio is very accommodating and has fire pits to gather around when it's cool out.
Nice hangout spot. I'm visiting the area so I tried a flight of the beers, five of the ten on tap. Not a super fan of the beers but beer is subjective. Cool, chill place.
I am so surprised by the reviews of this brewery after our experience last September. The staff (younger female with dreadlocks and young male) could not have cared less about our experience. It was as if we were bothering them by taking them away from their phones. The merch was really cool but unfortunately the beer really bland and tasted the same as the rest (we had the sample flights). Really poor time here. I would recommend the amazing guys at Falling Sky, they had the best service out of anywhere in Oregon. As well HopValley was super fun, good food, beer, and merch. Long story short, there are much better places to visit in Eugene than Ninkasi and I would not waste my time here.
Stopped by Ninkasi on February 15, 2014 while in Eugene for the day. We initially stopped in to look at their merchandise since their Ninkasi logo is very stylish and we wanted a t-shirt. However, after seeing the beer choices and receiving such great customer service, we decided to stay to enjoy a beer. Firstly, the atmosphere appears very hip and modern. There are creative art pieces on the wall and neat lighting overhead. Seating is limited however and some of the high tables only have bar stools - altho there are very few and many patrons had to stand while drinking. We noticed a food truck outside as we entered so I do not believe Ninkasi makes food within the brewpub. They had 10 of their beers on tap. The hubby chose the Pravda - which is a Bohemian Pils Style Lager. Simply said, "he loved it". Ninkasi also offers two beers with high IBU's if you enjoy IPA's. What made our stay so memorable was the service. There were three persons behind the counter - all were friendly and very helpful. One of the waiters helped my hubby choose a sweatshirt and while checking out he gave us free Ninkasi stickers and a brownie for our trip home. I would definitely recommend trying out Ninkasi. While in Eugene, it's a must!
