Toomers is the old counter drug store in Auburn. Now a must do when you are in town. Toomers Lemonade is famous. The Corner is where the trees are rolled after a War Eagle win.
This is a MUST STOP for anyone visiting Auburn University and Auburn downtown. Old world soda fountain, spend the time and wait in line.
Such a cute little soda fountain. Great fresh lemonade and HUGE delicious root beer floats. Has both seats at the fountain/bar and tables. I think they might also have sandwiches for lunch, but we only stopped in for ice cream & lemonade. Nice place to stop for a snack.
We have to get lemonade every time we come! It is a landmark for the town of Auburn, right across from campus.
Walking around campus, you feel the Auburn culture - family. It's a friendly and extremely aesthetic place. I love ending up at Toomer's Corner (literally) and the store which has great souvenirs and fresh made lemonade.
As a young man we used to come here quite frequently when in Auburn. I had the pleasure of taking my niece for the first time not too long ago. You can't beat the fresh lemonade and they have really nice souvenir shirts.
The lemonade and limeade are legendary. A must-stop. Lines can get very long but service proceeds with a nice clip. Had a sandwich once and that was enough.
You can't visit Auburn and not visit Toomer's Corner. The lemonade is amazing, service is friendly, and food is fresh. Always make sure I go there when I am in town.
A must visit location while in town. Have a glass of lemonade and pick up a souvenir. Stopped by on this trip for a lemonade and a t-shirt for my daughter for Christmas.
How can you Go to Auburn and NOT visit? The lemonade is really good. There's stuff to do around there and places to eat.
