Oxnard State Beach and Park is beautiful in every sense of the word. Very clean, safe, ample parking. Views are astounding.

This is a smaller quiet beach area. If you're looking for some down time, this is the beach area for Oxnard. It's not a bad spot to find a rental nearby. Not far away from attractions. Major freeway easy to get to.

One of my favorite beaches in this area. Usually not crowded. Good walking and thinking beach, great place to put a towel down and read or just watch the ocean.

Took our 7 grandchildren here. All had a great time. They aged from 15 to 6. Clean beach, great grass area and wonderful pirateship play area. Parking was easy and at only $5 was a bargan. Will diffinitly make this a stop the next time we are visiting the area.

We were visiting Santa Barbara at the end of July/14, rented a car & explored different beaches in the area. With two kids aged 6yrs & 4yrs old we headed for Oxnard State Beach Park. There is a very nice playground area which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The beach was very nice, it was quite windy the day we went so the waves were a little bit intimidating for the kids. The only down side was the visible garbage on the beach, I wish people would pick up after themselves. otherwise we had a great time.

This is a great place to bring the family for a picnic. Lots of picnic sites and BBQ's. Huge new playground for the kids and grassy area to play on. Park is right on the beach and has paved walking path.

This beach was right outside our hotel. It was clean, quiet and full of active people taking advantage of all the bike path along the water. There was a free yoga group having a session too.

in Southern California is Hollywood Beach in Oxnard. It is a very broad beach and basically very clean. If you want your solitude while contemplating the waves and don't especially want to brush shoulders with others, this is the place to come to. I hardly ever see more than a dozen or so other beach lovers at "OUR" beach. Of course, during the "beach season " you might see a few dozen or more within this beach expanse. There are also benches along paved walk-ways where one can take in some sun and enjoy the waves and the birds and the occasional home-made 2 -seater mini planes as they go by. ......and by the way, Malibu beach has absolutely nothing over Hollywood Beach located in Oxnard's Channel Islands area.

Nice beach and park. We really enjoyed walking around, always love the ocean and it was a beautiful day.

There is a park next to the mandalay bay resort with a public beach as well. The park has a large playground for kids of all ages and a large picnic area as well as sport area. Beach access is easy.
