Stopped and spent a couple of hours at the falls on our self guided winery walkabout! Amazing place to swim in the pools relax and unwind!
A beautiful place to splash around in the clean water and explore the bush. We took my young son so had to keep a close eye on him. Tho look out is stunning.
People flock to the Woolshed Falls just to sit in the lovely cool water in the rock pools. The water is so clean, despite all the visitors.
Always interested in waterfalls, I drove out to the Woolshed Waterfalls about 5kms from Beechworth and was not disappointed. The road is sealed, well signposted, and there is a large area with plenty of shelters and tables for picnics with lots of car parking space very close to the falls. The walking tracks in the area are well maintained, and lead from parking area to the viewing platform, as well as to the top of the falls. While there was not much water flowing across the falls, it was still lovely, but would be amazing when the water was more abundant. Well worth a look, and a swim or soak in the pools above the falls in summer.
This is a lovely place where the kids can have a dip in the many rock pools. Be warned though, as the rocks can be slippery. Still, well worth the visit if only to view the area.
very scenic walk around the falls lots of people doing the same, the area is clean and well cared for
Certainly not spectacular falls but the young people swimming below the falls were obviously having fun. Picnic grounds and facilities looked to be good and the viewing platform accessible for all abilities
have been to Woolshed falls three time over the two years. They are spectacular. First time there we were to only people and it was amazing. The falls provide a variety of photo opportunities and exploring the surrounding creek environment is well worth the effort. last time we were there was cup weekend and it was exceedingly popular - people in all the pools having a great time. Will be very popular on any hot day.
Lovely location ,not far from beechworth township, easy to find, roads we'll sign posted. The falls are in a national park ,so no dogs allowed, leave your fur babies at home.its also the type of place you take your rubbish away with you.It has long drop toilets which do smell a fair bit.there are a few picnic. Tables 2 or 3 from memory and the car park is not so large.Lovely cascading pools lined with rock. The slime on the rocks make them very slippery ,so care must be taken to avoid falls, pools are of varying depths ,the water is cold and very clean,in some pools there were tiny guppies to amuse all.Children need to be supervised as there is quite a drop in places and a fall could result in a serious injury .Holdon to the hands of littlely whilst they paddle in the shallower upper pool.Lovely place to visit .
Quite a nice multi cascade waterfall, easily accessible from town - enjoyable without being particularly memourable
