What a great place and a great website, really informative and one of the best tourist places around. It's just over from City Hall, so very central and they are very helpful indeed!
Went in to get fishing licences, found loads of information of place to do and see, very informative and great staff
The staff at HOME recommened this place to me and it was a great place to start my vacation. It is basically right across the street from city hall. I came in here to buy all of my gifts for home and to book whatever tours I was going to do.Everything is very easy to figure out and the tours pick you up right outside. No bathrooms though - which is odd. She said, "Go across the street to Burger King."
We were in Belfast for the weekend. We wanted to see what there is to see and decide on our priorities. Visit Belfast Visitor Centre arranges all the information in sections. At a glance you can see all you need.
An amazing place! The Welcome Centre is huge! It's not just another office with bored employees handing out tired brochures and making hotel reservations, like so many such places around the world. There are a lot of staff here, and many are "out and about" in the Centre, answering questions, offering help, and so on. You can do all the usual "tourist office" things here, but the Centre also has a huge array of Belfast and Northern Ireland souvenirs, books, media and other things that you might want to take home from your trip. It is located smack-dab in the middle of the downtown area. We were visiting Belfast on a Princess cruise, and Belfast organizes a FREE shuttle from the cruise ship pier into the city. The shuttle stop is right in front of the Welcome Centre! So we were able to visit the office as soon as we arrived (and got a very warm welcome from everyone in the place!) AND then stopped in on our way back to the ship, to pick up a few things "to remember Belfast by". Prices in the Welcome Centre are, in many cases, lower than they are in regular souvenir shops and the quality is really high. I can highly recommend this place: it is literally the best such place I have ever visited!
I've been here a lot. It is very well sorted, it covers the south of Ireland as well. I think its good for tourist to find free brochures on bed and breakfast and things to do. You go up on an escalator to see the souvenirs. It is very well placed on the main street, where Belfast City Hall looks down. You can book lots of different tours, like the steam train rides that start in Whitehead, up the coast. The staff are very helpful.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The range of product was good and prices reasonable. Located opposite the City Hall is very convenient.
It's light, airy and bright with a really well designed self help area with the flyers and leaflets to take. The staff are super helpful with any questions or trying to plan something, and the merchandise is of a great variety. I live here and visit often, not just toget ideas of days out, but also to pick up trinkets for folks back home.
friendly staff, informative and nice gifts. Decided on bus trip and titanic museum. Belfast is a friendly city and reminds us a little of home town. Will return with extended family members.
These folks helped us with lodging plans, transportation schedules, and suggested things to see and do in Belfast and all of NI. They also had a place to store our luggage while we toured in town for a day. I highly recommend this as one of your first stops in Belfast.
