Great views, although I'm still not sure which lighthouse was Cape Elizabeth light & which was Portland Head light. didn't dislike anything about it.
Lighthouse lovers will have to see the twin lights, but as they are off-limits and sort of distant as far as seeing any detail, don't allot much time, unless you want to eat at the Lobster Shack which sits by them.
Ate lobster at the Lobster Shack at Cape Elizabeth Light. Nice ocean views and a fun little gift shop and miniature lighthouse about 8 feet tall for photos. The actual lighthouse is on private party and a little hard to see but worth the short drive from Portland Maine
A must see on the tour of lighthouses in Maine. Definitely do not miss this beautiful house while on the coast of Maine.
While you can't tour the light house the view surrounding is spectacular! Being Mid-westerners we were amazed by the beautiful rocky beach. Just a beautiful place! Not a bad drive from Portland ME. The Lobster Shack and a gift shop are both worth a visit too.
Beautiful and there's a small path off the side where you can actually descend to walk among the rocks (I don't believe you're allowed, do so with great caution) and it makes for beautiful photography, a nice workout and some great memories.
Totally beautiful area that offers everything one could ask in a Maine lighthouse. My wife loved it - it was her first trip there.
This lighthouse is amazing as are the 12 or so lighthouses that we have found along the coast of Maine. The day we visited was a sunny beautiful day and we were just in awe.
well care for great scenes . The only dislike had to do with the weather it was cold with a strong wind
Two ighthouses, one that is right on the ocean front and another one inland that you can see, Ocean, rocks to climb on, not a bad place to stop. Not as nice as Portland Head, so if you have to pick between the two, I would Pick Portland Head. If you are going by anyways it is worth the stop though. We liked it.
