Your kids will love it. The statues around the park are fun. The castle is filled with kid size crawl spaces, mazes, bridges and a hidden door to the "dungeon". There was one picnic table, lots of two sweater benches without backs, and a ton of trash cans. I wish they had bathrooms vs portapotty. My kids got dirty scrambling around there was no where to change the youngest except on the car. Lots of fun and such a nice tribute to their son.
This is an awesome park to take the kids. it is a memorial park ran off of donations. It has secret tunnels all through out the castle. i took my nephew here for the first time, and even I had fun.
This is a beautiful tribute by a loving family to a son gone too soon. Our kids aged 7 - 15 all loved the stop here for tag, hide and seek and finding special nooks in the castle.
Castle with hidden passageways that makes you escape back into childhood. Run around and crawl around. This fenced in park allows kids and adults alike to run around safely.
My family has been visiting Rochman Park (or as the kids call it, Castle Park) for the past 8 years. It is a lovely setting. The castle is always full of new discoveries. It is so intricate! And the fountains and sculptures on the grounds are just breathtaking. Such a unique place to let the kids run.Parents of the very young, the bathrooms are two port-a-potties. Plan accordingly.
This park has a large castle as the main attraction for kids to play in. There are all kinds of secret passages and hiding spots! The whole park has a medevil theme! There are benches to sit, a pavillion area and a large dragon for the kids to climb on. Never a disappointment. The kids love it!
We went there passing through in June 2013. Out of the way from the main highway but my son who was 5 had a great time. It is probably a block or so big and the castle has secret doors and bridges. The big dragon that can be climbed on was a hit as well. It is all outside so weather can affect.
This park is absolutely great! It has castles that kids can climb in and tunnels to crawl through. It's a very clean and peaceful place for the kids to play. I would recommend it to anyone who has kids that are into castles and dragons. There isn't a fee to get into park but they do accept donations to keep the place up.
our grandkids love this place. It is a castle made of wood and bridges and hidden passages. They love to crawl and run through the place again and again. they pretend to be knights and princesses. There is also a place where adults can sit and relax and watch if they are not into climbing and pretending.
This is a private park dedicated to the son of a local businessman who was killed in a car accident near the location. It might seem like a bummer to start off your visit to see the plaque explaining the history of the park, but it isn't. It makes you appreciate your kids more and enjoy the fantasy land that is Boo Rochman's Memorial Park otherwise known locally as 'Castle Park'. I have many memories with my kids over the years visiting the park. I can't image any child not loving getting lost in the maze of tunnels in the castle or climbing over the dragon sculptures.
