We stayed here for a week. At check in, they schedule you for a timeshare update-we own a timeshare in Maine. The woman ,Marina, promised things that were not given, like free parking at Universal. Anyway,we went to the meeting the next day and spent about 2 hours listening to the salesman-we did not upgrade or switch to points. We did get discount tix to SeaWorld and 75.00. The resort is very nice,we were able to rent bikes,no charge and play mini golf, also no charge. The pool was nice, pretty warm. From the resort, it is easy to get to parks and highway.. One thing to note-if using a GPS, use Kissimmee, not Celebration for the town-my garmin did not recognize it as being in Celebration.
lot of flea markets, shop till you drop. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Club was nice great snacks and very helpful staff
The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are big, apartment type living with the basic amenities. There is a full refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, washer/dryer and spa in the room. The fitness room was good for working out on the treadmill and lifting weights. Overall, the atmosphere is breath taking, evening if you are not a golfer. I did not like the multiple attempt to buy into the "vacation package".
Played there in October 2014, got the deal on Group Golfer for a very reasonable rate. Can be expensive so check out this site. Course in great condition, good clubhouse, friendly people, will return soon.
Played he 4 times during August. Great price, excellent service and the course was in tip top shape. The starter was informative but not overbearing, the cart lady (Brooke) was always chirpy and we only had one issue during our 4 rounds. On one day two groups of 3 in front of us decided to merge into a 6 and when challenged by the ranger they became quite aggressive (from the evidence we saw it was because of too much Alcohol). They came back to us intimating that we had complained about them which we hadn't but there wasn't much logic to be had with them. Instead of the ranger putting them off the course he nervously backed off and never returned. Personally I've never witnessed such bad behaviour in a golf course and several groups made comment on how these guys just should not have been tolerated.Overal a fantastic experience and will return
as a whole the golf was pretty lousy. The course appeared to be under construction throughout most of the holes. Tons of sand drainage ditches look unsightly. There were few good looking spots as seen in some of the photos. In addition to the look of the course the lay of the fairway is extremely unlevel. Very few shot can be hit within the fair way on level ground. So unless you are exceptionally skilled the course comes off as very difficult. The greens are a nightmare to navigate. One hole has a 15 foot slope. Course has lot of gimmicks that are really more frustrating than they are cool. Won't recommend this course.
Loved everything about room and resort but wish there was an indoor pool as we went on a cold rainy weekend.
This is a golfers golf club, great shop and pro shop staff great practice facilities and location. Not as pompous as the resort courses around the area.
Not a good selection of equipment for golf, unless you are just looking for shirts. The man that worked there was nice though.
Very good conditions and nice layout. A challenging golf course with very tough greens. Some of the greens are mini golf like with huge undulations. If you do not hit the green in the right spot, you will three putt easily. Only problems I had were that you had to pay for range balls which is odd for a resort course. Also the range did not have yardages marked for the flags. Also the pin placements were way off and did not match the numbers on the scorecard. There was a huge GPS screen in the cart but ours did not work, no big deal considering I use my own. If you are looking for a challenging course in good condition then this course is for you, just don't expect the routine resort style experience.
