Homemade everything! Fresh veggies and fruits!Great barbecue and fruit cobblers! Completely southern!
When I have stopped at Peach Park, it normally has only been briefly. This time I got to snap some pictures as well as eat the chicken finger plate and get an ice cream cone. Their chicken fingers are good as well as their waffle fries. They have bbq, but I can not comment on how good or bad that is. I had a peach ice cream cone, it was really good. They have plenty of places to sit inside and out. The outside is really pretty. They have swings and trails. We didn't get to do any of the trails though because we were on the time crunch. We will go back and do the trails, probably also eat there again. I would suggest this place to someone not even just for the food but for the outside atmosphere. I wish we could have explored it more.
The prices on the merchandise they sale is a little steep but still very good. Wife got ice cream and I got a fried pie which was very good. Decent place to visit.
Chilton County Alabama peaches in July are Quite possibly the best in the world however the peach cobbler and homemade peach ice cream from Peach Park absolutely has to be the best in the world. You MUST taste this. WOW!
I had to work a job right next door to Peach Park for 3 days, and it was the best 3 days of food! I've tried several of their offerings, so take it from me, no matter what you get, it will be amazing! I had peach cobbler and ice cream for breakfast one day and fried apple pie and ice cream the next (I know what you're thinking... Breakfast of Champions). Well it was an amazing way to start each day! I also got the ribs, half-chicken, onion rings, fries, macaroni and beans (not all in one meal) and they were all so good! Their sweet tea was perfect and the staff was very nice and helpful. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here, for at least 2 meals and dessert! Be mindful, that you may have to wait in line - just like any good place, this one gets a little crowded. On a side note: not really taking any points off for this because it really didn't affect my experience, but the little park by the restaurant is in serious need of cleaning and updating. It would be a really enjoyable place for my kids to hang out, but it just looked unkept.
I had a quick lunch here on a working day with my office colleague and really liked this place. Ambiance is very good and the food was good too. Not too big a range but whatever they offer is good.
I love going to the Peach park for bar-b-que, fried pies, fresh peaches and peach ice cream. Great place to eat lunch and let the kids play!
Peach Park is a beautiful, fun and relaxing stop, the fried pies are over-rated... The food looks unappetizing but I haven't tried it. If you're just stopping to get ice cream and fruit I'm sure one of the less famous spots at exit 205 are just as good but if you have kids that want to play or you want to stretch your legs in the garden - stop here!!
My wife ran in to purchase a peach pie to take to our family. First off you need to know the difference between the regular pie and the tourist pie. The tourist version is more of a tart, while the regular pie is a crust on top only peach pie.We bought one of each. Both had a delicious peach taste and nice crust. The regular pie, while not what I'm used to, was delicious. Still I like a bottom crust, so it was a one time purchase. The tart while small , was also delicious and much more pleasent of an experience to eat .Next time in Clanton, I will definitely just purchase tarts for everyone.
I researched and found this place by reading forums of places to stop on our way to Destin, FL from KY. So glad that I did! We were all starving by the time we arrived and Peach Park did not disappoint. You can order a barbecue sandwich with 1 or 2 sides. I had the cole slaw and macaroni and cheese, all of which were very good. They also have fries and baked beans. You need to ask for bbq sauce before you pay as this is the only option for it. After eating, we walked around a bit. The kids climbed up on the horse and cow statues for picture poses. Then we climbed the hill towards the lighthouse. There is a nice little playground up there. Great memories and pictures up there getting kids and adults on swings and slides. My mom surprised us all by see-sawing with one of the kids. Walked back down the other the hill...so pretty here! Lots of trees and little bridges for photo ops. Some of our best pics came from Peach Park! We had the peach ice cream before we left. It's a must have as it tastes like homemade! They also have a little shop where you can buy produce and jars of jams/jellies and peach butter. Peach Park was as awesome way to start our vacation! Definitely worth the visit!
