A visit to Dean's Blue Hole is just incredible. Do not miss the opportunity if you are on Long Island. It was our fist time to visit a blue hole and were in awe. We enjoyed snorkeling around the hole and watching divers.
Stunning natural feature. The World's deepest marine hole at over 200 metres. Not spoiled by any commercialism. We were able to walk and paddle around (not too close). Amazing !
Great swimming hole. Amazing shades of blue. High cliff some kids were jumping off. Worth the short two track beach road drive off the highway.
This is the deepest blue hole in the world and it's such a unique pace to visit. you literal can walk all around it (the water is that shallow) and 30 feet in front of you is the opening to a 663 feet underwater cave that is dark and ominous. There are cliffs around the north side of the blue hole that we jumped from, and the view of the blue hole from up there is spectacular. The road is a bit rocky to get here.
This is a great place to spend some time. Swimming over Dean's Blue Hole is an amazing experience. Kind of a strange feeling. There are areas to wade and snorkel. In fact, you can probably wade out about a quarter of a mile right next to the hole and the water is only waist de.
Cliff above Blue Hole is 45' above water...great for adventurous jumpers. No need to worry about hitting bottom which is 660' below surface. Many of the world free diving records were set here. Beautiful beach, snorkel to edge of blue hole or scuba to descend.
the natural wonder is amazing and has so much to offer for everyone low water beach cliffs for cliff diving deep water for diving its the ultimate beach
Perfect place for suntanning and snorkelling. The Blue Hole was very surreal and certainly an eye-opener.
Didn't make it to the bottom ;) but jumping into the water off the cliff that surrounds it is heart-pounding enough for me. Beautiful scenery and good snorkeling, too.
You don't need a mask to see the fish. They swim out to meet you. Crystal clear water. Long beach to explore. Sand dollars everywhere. Only bad mark is beach cleanliness. So much washed ashore from the Atlantic.
