The Most beautiful clear water I have ever seen. Can't wait to come in the summer. It had beautiful sea cave and sandy beach, it was peaceful and you can really just relax and enjoy your time.
The place is great, especially if you like nature. The water is really blue. What a shame that it is so crowdy that you can hardly find a place to sit down. For my taste it is too touristic, but worth visiting if you are staying in Malta for a week for example.
It is possible here. Not hot water but really nice. Bad that I did not bring my shnorkel. Good place to walk around and look at the views. I bet it is veeeery hot in the summer...
Was I lucky or what!? When I took an excursion to the Blue Lagoon on Comino the other day (March 2nd), there were only three tourists going there: me and a Nepalese couple. The couple soon disappeared behind one of the rocky outcroppings at the lagoon, so I ended up having the entire lagoon area to myself! Not another living soul in sight! My camera went into overdrive!I've read some of TA's negative reviews about the Blue Lagoon and not in a million years would I visit the lagoon during high season. Obviously, my rating of this place as 'excellent' would have very likely been quite different had I visited it during high season, with the hordes of tourists and packs of irritating touts milling about. As the boat pulled into the lagoon, the first words out of my mouth were, 'OMG!!! Is this place for real?' The colours just blew me away. But the icing on the cake was that I was the only one there.Comino does have other attractions, its main one being the 7 km Comino Walk. Along the route, one can see the old Isolation Hospital, St. Mary's Tower (which doubled as the gruesome Chateau d'If in the 2002 film, 'The Count of Monte Cristo', and the Chapel.Low season, the lagoon is heaven; high season, the lagoon must be hell!
We went here for the day as this was one of my grandfather's favorite places. Beautiful palace, amazing views, stunning surrounding. Food and drinks available. But Rock when getting of boat if you got young ones or elderly with you. Amazing beach to visit.
The Blue Lagoon is a beautiful place, but it was way too crowded when we visited in the middle of July. So I would suggest to go there in the low season to get a far more pleasant and idyllic experience.
We were there in November, and I think thats the perfect time to go! Water still good-23 degrees, not too many people, so we can do and lay anywhere you wanted! It was a good decision to go there! :))
Went here for the day crystal blue waters make sure you hire snorkelling gear when u get there the views are just amazing this place will definitely hold a special place in my heart always
We were here last year 2o14 one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen a little difficult to get to if you have any walking difficulties as at the bottom of a very steep hill bus dropped us at top where I stayed and enjoyed a cool drink and took in the scenery which was simply stunning. Next time I will be going down the hill for a proper look there is also I little boat trip once down there which takes you into the little coves.
It´s a wonderful place who loves water and nature... Great to take pictures and see the sunset. I would really recommend to visit Comino island if you are in Malta. Its a must go if you are in Malta.
