I went to Main Event with my brothers and my two nephews (ages 9 & 12) and we all had a fun afternoon playing mini golf, laser tag, bowling and traversing the ropes course. The mini golf was a little disappointing as there are only 9 holes and the flags on many of the holes were broken. The ropes course was fun, but it was too short as it could have easily been extended to twice the size to provide a better experience. Laser Tag was a blast as they have two levels and plenty of places to hide. The equipment that they provided is high quality, but it started to get hot after wearing it for about 5 minutes. We also bowled three games while we were there, and I must say that they have the best bowling ball selection I have ever experienced. They have different size finger holes in a variety of weights, so I was not relegated to slinging a 16 pound ball as usual due to the size of my fingers. They also provided food service to the lanes so we were able to enjoy a frosty Blue Moon draft and tasty pizza. It was a great value as well, since we were able to do all of the activities listed above on an unlimited basis for only $15.99 per person. The only added expense was the shoe rental for bowling, which was only $3.50.
We had a family night out before school starts and the kids were off playing video games and enjoying themselves and we were playing pool and relaxing. My daughter after about 3 hours decided to cash in her points and get herself a nice prize and when she put her card down to look at something another kid ran by and took it.We thought all was lost until along came a manager named Luke...Luke was 100% engaged and caring that this happened, he checked the camera feeds and when that proved uneventful, he took our receipt and tracked the card down that was stolen, found out it had been used and combined with another card. He then locked that card and reissued the card to my daughter with her point on it !!!!Entire evening saved !!!!This guy was a Rock Star and made my daughter so gratefulCody in the pool area kept our table full of food and drinks flowing, what a great night thanx to these 2 guys
The bowling is fun and the people are friendly. The games are stake and few. Laser tag is fun but equipment is old and works intermittent. The food is basic and not good for anyone but young children expectations. There is a bar and lots of pool tables but to mix adult entertainment with pure child entertainment makes the place feel strange and out of place.
We had brought the kids and their friends to celebrate NYE as they had a deal in which, for $22, you could do any of the activities that they had to offer. When we arrived prior to 9pm, there was over a 4 hour wait for bowling and slightly less for the other activities. You would think that their management would limit the number of people through the door since they could clearly not accommodate everyone. We ended up going to Strikes which costs more but there was no wait and the kids were able to do the same activities.
The kids had a great time. Food was good but their service was terrible. No waitress for 30 minutes.
Frisco's Main Event is better compared to the others, based on cleanliness, helpfulness, and more to do, they also had fewer of the arcade games that were out of order. We thoroughly enjoyed the Laser Tag, and the Rope Climb. My son, who is too small for Laser Tag yet, enjoyed the arcade and the mini golf! We finished the day off with a game of bowling, and a delicious pizza. It was not as pricey as I had imagined, except for the arcade part. I recommend a visit, and if you go in the summer in the morning they have special rates. Enjoy!
This is a great spot for the whole family or a birthday party etc. The all you can play for one price is the best way to go. We try to avoid nighttime hours as the older kids and families with older kids get a bit ruff with the lazer tag and gravity.
We had our son'd birthday party here. As usual, they provided a really good experience for the kids. The birthday boy and all the guests had a good time, and the value was pretty good for the package. We did bowling and laser tag. At this age, they were more interested in the laser tag and video games - less so the bowling -- but that's kids' preference. We'll go back.
Went to meet my sister in law and brother and nephew for her birthday. We had a blast. They bowled. I ate nachos and we played games. The games are fun. I didn't have enough time there because I am from out of town and I came in too late but I will definitely be back to play and win. Cool pirate game and cool photo booths. If you like games. Come and try it out. I was too late to bowl but I will win next time.
My 7 year old had fun, but it was pricey! The food was expensive for the quality. Probably will go back though, because he enjoyed himself so much.
