This was the best racing experience I've ever had. Rusty Wallace racing is very organized and the training, the people, and the cars where great. These guys checked the cars out after each driver drove on the track. All of the safety devices where used like in NASCAR. I've used a different racing company before and there wasn't any of the same safety devices or concerns as there was with this racing package. With the other company there was another person riding with you, and they had more control over the experience than you did. Rusty Wallace Racing is truly the NASCAR Racing experience that they say you'll have. I would do again and again with the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience. You really get to drive a racecar on your own with a spotter just like in NASCAR Racing. This was truly the best experience I've ever had. Thanks to everyone in the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience organization. These guys are the best.
We went tonight for Christmas lights. There was not a ton of lights but it was a neat experience to drive on the track but we thought it would be the whole track and it was only about a 1/4 of the track. Everyone was nice. But for 18 $ ( paid online ahead of time) it was a different experience.
I recently attended the Folds of Honor Nascar race and I have to say that Atlanta Motor Speedway is one of the best race tracks I have ever been too. The parking was easy (we didn't have to pay) and the track facilities were clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had actual seats and they were comfy as well. The only thing I wish is that a larger variety of food was offered. However, I think I understand why not all options were available...it was about 35 degrees and wet....so that may have something to do with why kiosks were closed. I would definitely come back.
A Birthday present from my girlfriend, 10 lap shootout package plus the Ride along. The PDF information packages and drivers meeting covered Safety and understanding the steps to get the most out of your package. Be prepared for a day at the racetrack. Once on the track it hits home that you are in a racecar and the speed you drive is up to you. The crew at RWDE are there for you with answers , tips on getting the most from your day and provide a safe experience.
I attended the Folds of Honor Quik Trip 500 and found it to be an exceptional experience, except for the weather. As opposed to the Daytona 500 the previous week, Atlanta Motor Speedway had a smart traffic plan to get fans in and out of the race. Parking was easy and plentiful. Once we walked to the area outside of the track, they had a structured setup of merchandise trailers and vendors as well as multiple information booths that were easy to maneuver through. The ticket gate lines moved quickly and efficiently. Because I was in a walking boot due to a stress fracture in my foot, a worker in a golf cart offered to give us a ride up to the area in which we were sitting and thanked us for coming out to the race and said how grateful they were for the fans that braved the cold weather. I wish I had gotten his name because he was really part of making a good experience even better. Inside the track area, there were plenty of workers to help us find our seats. Restrooms were plentiful and warm. Although we didn't make it through all of the race as well as many others due to the weather it still was a positive experience. Leaving the race, there were shuttle buses to get guests to the parking area. It was easy to get out, of course, because we left early, but it was apparent that AMS was set up to exit guests in an quick and efficient manner. I'm so grateful to AMS for the positive experience, especially after a somewhat poor experience at Daytona, the previous week. AMS does it right. They care about the fan experience. Now, if only, we can get the race moved forward to a time when the weather in Atlanta will be warmer.
I can't say enough good things about my experience! I am an African American male, which most folks say we are not in to the sport of NASCAR. I say the people who say this haven't had this experience. I was treated with complete kindness and respect from the pit crew and assists. I'm sure it was a long weekend down here with us inexperience people trying to learn to drive the cars, but I met not bad comments and only was met with kindness. It was suggested to ride along first before trying to drive. I was skeptical, but I decided to do it since I was out there to have a good time. I can't recommend this enough. It was so fun to ride and I got to see the racing lines prior to drive the car myself. I would have just been happy with the ride along. The drive was great. From being put into the car and talked through what needed to be done, the guy was so kind and made sure I knew what to do. Getting around the track was great, except driving into the sun was awful- couldn't see the track at all.Anyway, I got the taste of NASCAR and came away respecting the drivers and crews more than ever. NASCAR is indeed a sport. Even after the first lap of the ride along, I was like "How can they last doing this lap after lap in a real race???". This is a great experience- especially for those who are on the fence about what NASCAR is and its place in the sports world. Instead of bad talking NASCAR and racing as a sport or laugh at those watching people driving and making "left turns" for hours- try it yourself. Try it here. You might still not like watching it, but you will appreciate the skill and stamina it takes. You will walk away with a healthy respect for what they folks do.Thank you all for all that you do and for this experience.-Lee Greene (Powder Springs, GA)
We attended the Labor Day Weekend events for the 3rd time, every time has been great!! We will miss this race as it is off the schedule for next year.
I have been to this speedway three times for the Labor Day night race. It is a great speedway. The entire facility is wonderful. I am sad that the Labor Day race weekend was taken away, I'm not sure we will ever have the time to go back.
My family had a very good time at the Atlanta Motor Speedway this past Labor Day. It was a great race, and we enjoyed the speedway. Food selection was good and the facility seems well cared for.
My father and I purchased rides for each other for fathers day and birthdays. We scheduled to take our rides on the same day and time. All attendants were very professional, helpful, told jokes, and had a good time to help lighten the mood while waiting. Make sure you eat before you go as you may have to wait a while before you get your ride due to track conditions, cars available, or divers on the track.
