this is a great trip to get away and have a little fun with family and friends. if you want to gamble a little and eat good food this is the place to be but be safe and don't spend too much
It's nice to take friends on the boat across the lake for the afternoon. We play at the little casino and have lunch or an early dinner in the restaurant and watch the boats on the lake. The food is basic but worth the view.
Beware of the Clam Chowder at Restaurant. My husband fell seriously ill from having a cup of clam chowder. It was confirmed to be Salmonella. He mentioned to me how it tasted burned and didnt taste right after we had already left. We departed and headed back across the lake to the City. For $2.00 round trip per person on the new ferry was quite nice but not the following 4 days of illness. Not just a case of flu it was poison!!!
Ferry ride only $2 round trip or free if you clip a coupon from the local paper. Casino is smallHappy hour every day at 5Thursdays is 1/2 off all appetizers after 11amNice view from barGreat view from restaurant also No luck gambling however
Took ferry from London Bridge to Casino. Only $2.00 a piece, gambled just a little, but had lunch at restaurant in Casino and it was cool. Our table was right on the water. It was a great afternoon and was so reasonable.
Restaurant has fairly reasonable prices. Food is OK, but smoke smell can be overwhelming. Too bad, because there is a fabulous view from the dining room. Staff is friendly. There is a small charge for the ferry from Lake Havasu City, but free ride coupons are normally in local paper.
If you can handle the smoke, you will enjoy this small casino on the California side of the lake. We only stay for a short while. Did o.k. on the slots!
Went there 3 times. Never won a penny. That's why I go to casino's to win money and if they don't pay out then they suck no matter how big or small they are. I used to work at the Colorado Belle in Laughlin and that place blew this little shack away. Don't plan to go again unless the tear down this rat hole and build a real casino. This joint wasn't worth two dead fly's in my book and every one I know thinks so too. The boat ride over was cool though. A nice relaxing ride with cool water spraying in your face. Can't beat it. I might take that again and avoid the casino. That way I won't blow another $100.00 for nothing.
We took the boat from Lake Havasu City and decided not to get off on the other side. We miscalculated how much time we had before our dinner reservation and decided to turn back. It wasn't a planned escape. Started walking from the back of the boat and up the stairs when a woman ( I was told might have been the captain) told us to we had to get off the boat and then yelled at a deck hand, "DON'T LET THEM COME UP HERE!!". I understand that they want people to get off the boat and donate to their Casino but a much better tactic would be to calmly explain the policy. Not throw a tantrum and throw passengers off the boat! I asked a security guard on the dock if we could stay on the dock as I saw there was a HUGE line to get back on the boat. He told me that we had to go back down the dock and get a boarding pass. After a long walk past hundreds of people we discovered that no boarding pass was required. LIAR!! By the time we got back on the boat there were hardly any available seats. Since everyone smelled of cigarette smoke I'm very happy that we did not have to to experience the casino. A Very bad customer service experience. We would never go back. Too bad as the boat ride on lake Havasu was enjoyable.
Ferry ride across Havasu Lake to the Havasu Casino was shortand sweet (17 minutes) beautiful view of Havasu City and for a nominal fee of $2.00 return. The restaurant was another story nice view right on waters edgebut almost impossible to get any service. Saw one waitress who could not handle the full house. We as well as other patrons moved to the bar to eventually get served but could only use bar menu there ,We would take the ferry ride again but that's it!!!!
