We played on a Friday afternoon and it was very uncrowded. Fun course that I would recommend to anyone.
This is a great course if you like playing over canyons and through desert terrain. I'm a beginner at golf and cringe every time my husband or friends suggest playing there. It's tough for us beginners!
It was a beautiful day for golf but the course was still real wet from the rain storm that hit the St George area earlier in the week. The greens were nice and the ball rolled well. The rough was long and thick bad not too bad. The course has some tough holes and without a GPS your guessing the distance. We got there early and they sent us right out. The pace of play was good and was done within 4 hours. Now since I've played this course, I would know the shot to hit on holes #4, 5 and 11 cuz you heed to hit all most a perfect shot. I would play this course again.
One of the nicest public courses you'll ever play. Not overly difficult but very scenic. The club house is well stocked, just don't expect much in the way of food.
Not bad, the course is interesting and would be fun if in just a little better shape, bet it will be in another month.
The staff is friendly ad helpful. Usually we play this I about 4 1/2 hours, but were able to do it in less than 4 and play as a twosome. We did the twilight special which starts at two but got there early and they gave us that rate. The course was not in the best shape but they had a bad winter; usually, it's pristine. We love playing here. It's fun and challenging - we are 12 handicappers. Love the back 9! It's our favorite in the area.
Fun course! Enjoyed #'s 5 & 6 where you have to hit over the gorge. Course was in pretty good shape, though the tee boxes were not flat and the course played a little bit slow (almost 5 hrs). The unique challenge will make me come back again.
You have to concentrate and place your shots to score on this course. Two holes over a deep gorge (a par 3 & a par 4) will test you golfing skills and club selection. Two of the par 5's canbe reached in two from the white tees. Number 11(par 4) is a real challenge off the tee and the second shot into a shallow green may be the most difficult 2nd shot on the golf course. Being a city owned course and receiving a lot of play the condition would be classed as average but the greens are well maintained, bunkers not so much.
Situated close to St George this course is in great condition and excellent value for money. There are some very challenging holes, especially 5 and 6 on the front nine. Lots of water to negotiate on the course and some good course management needed to secure a good score. Have already booked another round!
Green spring is a nice course, beautiful vista's and a good value. great public course not much of a club house, but you love the scenic course. The greens are quick and roll true. I would recommend for all levels of play
